Guest guest
this is an experimental statement . It means that a given amount f lead is introduced to teh test animal (rat ) together with the tumeric. than measured for the impact. the rat was then killed to retrieve the information on the damage done. I generly feel animals are used excessively for our purpose ; Billy , Bea Bernhausen <beabernhausen wrote: > > Lead poisoning treated with LEAD?????????? The cure for the effects of lead poisoning on learning and memory may lie in the roots of the plant Curcuma longa, the source of the Asian spice turmeric. That conclusion comes from a new study published online January 17 in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. > > Lead reduces levels of antioxidants—compounds that mop up toxic free radicals—in the brain. Free radicals kill neurons in the hippocampus, the brain region that controls learning and memory. When simultaneously treated with lead and curcumin—a chemical in turmeric and a powerful antioxidant—rat hippocampal neurons survived better than those treated only with lead. Curcumin also improved the performance of lead-poisoned rats in a learning and memory test, illustrating curcumin's therapeutic prowess. > > http://pubs.acs.org//journals/esthag- w/2007/feb/science/rc_tasty.html > > Population reduction, a globalist goal, allows monopoly ownership of the earth's resources – less population means more for them! War, famine, suppressed cures for catastrophic diseases, abortion acceptance, and health-destroying, cancer-producing Monsanto monopolized genetically modified foods all reduce world population and produce big profits. - Deanna Spingola, Political Researcher. > > > > > > > Looking for earth-friendly autos? > Browse Top Cars by " Green Rating " at Autos' Green Center. > Food fight?
