Guest guest
When a foreign substance such as an artificial tooth is implanted and adhered to the bone ( mandible or maxilla ) you run a big risk that the body will react in a negative way. They can create all kinds of problems and not all necessarily in the mouth. The body may react to the cement or the implant. They both are toxic to one degree or another. I had one tooth that had a root canal and another tooth where the nerve just wasn't there for some reason. I made the decision to have both teeth removed. It hasn't really been a problem for me. I just chew a little longer to fully masticate my food. The teeth were molars so the gaps are not seen. I never regretted my decision to have them taken out and I haven't had problems with my teeth for many years. Many dentists will tell you that if you don't put in a bridge or implant the other teeth will tend to move together. This is usually just their way of getting you to spend more money putting in a bridge, etc. Neither my wife or I have experienced it happening. Personally I would never have an implant put in. If I were to decide to have a bridge ( I doubt that I will ), I would test for compatibility of the substances used to see if my body would tolerate them. This can be done with kinesiology. The test should be done by more than one kinesiologist since some are less competent than others. If weakness is experienced when touching the materials, they should be avoided. There is also the possibility that a person can tolerate plastics, etc. and then later on, there system can become intolerant. One of my patients was ok with her denture plate for quite some time, and then she developed an incompatibility to the materials and her lips became inflamed and she had problems with her palate. When she takes out the dentures the problems dissipate and when she puts it back in, the problems exacerbate. This verified my testing that she was incompatible with her dentures. Hope this information is helpful.Jerry Andersonbilly171john <billy171 wrote: there are some concerns about root canal as a solution to tooth nearve damage from infection / abcess .
