I field tested my Dream Cream facial cream using hydrogen peroxide and rosewood essential oil as the only preservatives and had remarkable success. That means, I used it for six months on my face with no mold growth or off smell. This cream comes in a beautiful 1.75 oz. glass jar. The creams and butters, which are in jars, and exposed to air, fingers and maybe water, definitely have a bigger contamination risk, so I was especially happy with my results. I have also used my lotions, which are in amber glass bottles with pump top, for a year without preservatives. I cannot offered this to my retail customers yet ( because of liability) but was excited to tell you who are so interested and informed about healthy alternatives.I have many products made with wholesome, natural oils and essential oils for their healing and aromatherapy properties and products made with fragrance oil and synthetic preservatives. I will also make members of the HAH list special orders without preservative upon request with the understanding that you must refrigerate for longer shelf life and that 3 months is the upper limit. Just indicate that you're from the list in your order. It maybe best to e-mail me for your order rather than go through the shopping cart. The ingredients in my Dream Cream follow: Dream Cream – water, emulsifying wax (vegetable derived), avocado butter, sweet almond oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, rosehip seed oil, lanolin, Vit. E, preservative or (H202), essential oil. My website is functional, though not complete. I'll be adding salves and lip balms, a vapor rub and massage oils, etc. E-mail me with any questions you have.
