Guest guest
Today, Democrats stood up for seniors by passing long-overdue legislation that will lower the price of prescription drugs. For too long the Bush Medicare program has been a roadblock in the way of progress by putting the burden on the backs of seniors while padding the pockets of the pharmaceutical and prescription drug companies. By allowing the government to negotiate for the lowest prices on prescription medications, the new Democratic bill will help curb the windfall profits that pharmaceutical companies have been recording while seniors have struggled to afford the medicines they need. As part of the 100 Hour Agenda, Democrats took the first step in reforming our nation's healthcare system and keeping our promise of fighting for seniors. Every American deserves access to quality healthcare, and as Democrats we are committed to fighting for real reform. Guest guest
What is disheartening but true: many physicians are dropping or refusing to see patients with medicare or medicaid, as they claim that the " reimbursment rates are too low " : not enough money. For those who think that the hipocratic oath means anything- it doesnt to many of these greedy " doctors " . My suggestion to all is search for a physician who isnt so perverse in their thinking.
