Guest guest
I had an eye exam and pupils dilated. Doc said he saw a Exudinous Retinal Detachment (sort of a small blister spot) on back of left eye retina. Also called ERD not sure of that exudinous spelling, or called Serous Retinal Detachment. I wonder how I got this and...how can I get rid of it? I do not notice any deficiency in my vision...yet. Thanks.
Guest guest
I am extremely near sighted and that's what the surgeon told me caused my retina to detach. I had surgery to repair this and have a " belt " that holds my right eye in place. If I had not had surgery I would have lost all sight in that eye in a matter of days. Also, I did have blurred vision which is why I went to the eye doctor in the first place. That was almost 7 years ago. A friend of ours had a detachment many years ago but his did not require surgery. He had to wear a patch and used drops and it healed on it's own. He had gotten hit in the head very hard and also had a concussion. Different type of injury than mine. Sorry I can't be of more help.
