Guest guest
One of the best investments I have made has been in my body water sensing scale. Soehnle has a number of them. I have the RIO model but here is a link to one on sale. I got on the damn thing and saw that I was 49% body water instead of the normal 60%! From then on it has helped immeasurably with allowing me to realize just how much water I need AND the minerals that I was deficient in that control cellular hydration. Namely Sodium, potassium and magnesium. I look and feel like a new person with proper hydration. You will learn that stress, illness, drinking will impact hydration like you could never have imagined. http://www.smartbargains.com/go.sb?pagename=prod & program=13244 & deptid=3 & isrw=2 & c\ atid=45 & prodid=3011325896 & aid=74 Remember if you drink tons of water and the scale doesn't register it, it means that the cells are not absorbing the water; you are just peeing it out. Try some potassium, mag and sea salt and bingo those cell open and the scale will register the water increase. Here is a good animation of how the Sodium-Potassium Pump and active transport of the cellular action works. Do some research on `active transport'. It's fascinating. http://www.brookscole.com/chemistry_d/templates/student_resources/shared_resourc\ es/animations/ion_pump/ionpump.html http://www.maxanim.com/biochemistry/Sodium-Potassium%20Pump/Sodium-Potassium%20P\ ump.htm --- Rocky Ward <rachelleward2 wrote: > > > > WATER > > #1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. > (Likely applies to half the world population.) > > > #2.
