Guest guest
For those of us who overindulged on the holiday goodies...lol! ~Rocky http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/TIP02196 A Healthy Habit: Snacking Every Monday this month we focus on some fun and healthy goals to consider this New Year, courtesy of Dr. Weil on Healthy Aging! Healthy Habit: Snack all day long. Eating small meals throughout the day helps keep blood sugar levels stable and energy levels high. Make your main meals smaller in size, and stock up on healthy, satisfying snack items to round out your day. Good choices include fresh veggies, whole wheat pita and hummus; seasonal fruit salad with low-fat yogurt and freshly ground flaxseed; whole grain crackers with a small piece of cheese or some smoked salmon; or a nut-and-dried-fruit mix. These healthy snacks also have the added benefit of being part of the anti-inflammatory diet that Dr. Weil recommends, which can help reduce the incidence of inflammatory related diseases."Get off your ass and take your government back." ~Rocky Ward

Guest guest
Smoked foods are terribly cancerous. Yes, for now stick to celery with a good veggie pate or dressing. You'd be suprised how satisfying it is!
