Guest guest
(Dee, This is so well said, you really did your homework. Thanks for the email!) The United States is also looking at reining in the health foods and vitamin industry. They had a little vote a few years back. You know, I guess you could say it was something like drawing the short straw. The United States had to sit that one out because well I guess they were afraid of pulling this little hat trick off. They needed a country that was less regulated, so it would look like the United States had nothing to do with the decision in the first place, and so big money could pretend to not be pulling the puppet strings in the second place. Big money, big business wants to control us, the masses. Our President trails after them with his tongue hanging out. Sometimes I look at that plastered smile on President Bush's face and think does he or does he not know that he is ripping our country to shreds. QUANTUM PHYICS is getting to the point that the MAD SCIENTISTS ARE ALLOWED TO TEST ANY YOU NAME IT THEORYS AND THEY EVIDENTLY HAVE THE GO AHEAD BECAUSE NASA JUST STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE AND SAID WELL WE DON'T KNOW WHAT IT WILL COST WHAT WE NEED, SO WE WON'T FILL IN THE AMOUNT ON THE CHECK AND SO THEY HOPE WE WILL FORGET ABOUT IT, AND NO ONE EVERS CHECKS THE BOOKS. Doesn't matter, they have been cooking the books for more years then I have been on this earth, and I am about to reach the 50 mile marker myself. We as a nation DO NOT KEEP THEM ACCOUNTABLE. So why should they STOP? The one with the most toys, or the biggest means by which they can control us thru manipulation of exactly what they put in the medicines and MEDICINES THAT ARE ONLY PRODUCED TO CONTROL OUR HORMONE OUTPUT. You find the key that controls our brains or unlock's our neuropathways and YOU THEN MADE MEDICINES OR HERBAL REMEDYS THAT CAN AFFECT OUR CELL FUNCTIONS. They got our hormones to become off balanced. Going Postal, and Road Rages did not happen overnight. But they did push our buttons to get us here. ADD and bi-polars symptoms are coming out of the woodwork. They are feeding some of those adult medicines to the babies. They don't even have a clue what amount or dosage to prescribe but they are doing it anyway. So if you want to control a market, you have to put a lot of people out of business. The mammas and the poppas business. Not a lot of them left in the United States. They don't plan on depriving the consumers for long in Europe. They just plan on buying the others and getting a large percentage of the market place. If it looks like it wil take to long to get control of that market place, well then the good old USA will belly up and pass another law similar to this one. Of course, not as restricted. But it will look like they pretend to give a darn one way or the other. BUT IT REALLY IS ONLY A MEANS TO A END. As soon as big business has their piece of the market, Europe will change this BS directive and take it back off the books. SO EUROPE, DIG IN YOUR HEELS. HAVE THE GUTS TO BE IT FOR THE LONG HAUL. DON'T GIVE IN. READ THE SMALL PRINT. THEY HAS TO BE MORE THAN ONE LOOPHOLE IN THAT DIRECTIVE ALREADY. WHY? BECAUSE IT WAS WRITTEN TO BE RESCINDED SOMEWHERE DOWN THE ROAD. And you cannot rescind something unless you leave yourself an out, a GOOD OLD FASHIONED LOOPHOLE. So read the small print. ALL OF IT. Your industry needs to come together, pony up probably a good hefty sum to the pot towards the lawyers that you will need to make it worth their time. Big money has deep pockets because they got together and did the very same thing a long time ago. Hired the lawyers, that were very talented but also willing to lie to the public. You get a good enough lie going and a lot people will come to believe it. BS is still BS. And lots of people get bought off including lawyers to feed you a line of BS that you might be wasting your time trying to find a loophole. Don't believe them Europe! It was never written to be a tool for the consumers. If it is not written for the very consumers that they protest to want to protect, then they must of written for themselves. AND IF YOU ARE QUOTING THE DIRECTIVE AND NOT MISLEADING US IN ANY WAY IN YOUR PASSING ON THIS INFORMATION TO US, THEN THINK ABOUT IT! If the two facts you provided of manufacturers will have to provide evidence products are safe before a herbal remedy will be granted a license and ONLY PRODUCTS WHICH HAVE BEEN ON SALE IN THE EU FOR 30 YEARS WILL BE THE ONLY ONES AUTOMATICALLY APPROVED, Well, come on Europe, that 30 YEAR LINE ITSELF HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE LOOPHOLES. 30 YEARS IS WAY TOO LONG, EVEN OUR FDA HAS BEEN KNOWN TO GIVE APPROVAL TO A REMEDY OR MEDICINE THAT WAS KNOWN TO BE UNSAFE TO US, BUT STILL THEY GAVE APPROVAL. WHY? BECAUSE BS WALKS AND MONEY TALKS. So that line 30 years looks like a line to me that is something that allows this directive to be overturned at some point down the road. Don't let them dictate the road. Take a closer look at that directive. If big money talks then the loopholes were written as part of the directive. EUROPE IS NO LESS A WHORE THAN MY OWN UNITED STATES. Oldest profession in the book they say. A profession that money talks and BS walks isn't it! And not all whores are required to lay down and spread their legs. You pay a whore enough money and they will help direct other whores to the same task as them. So direct is the oppreative word here Europe. A DIRECTIVE THAT DIRECTS AND DICTATES THE ROAD. THEY WANT TO TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE. DON'T LET THEM. Come on, 30 years, PLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEE. Get enough BS and write it down real real pretty and enough other words to spread the loopholes out where they are not easily interpretted and pay out your whore money and tell them to nod where you tell them to nod, and a directive gets passed into law. But directives can still be attacked in court and overturned. OUR GOVERNMENT LIKES TO TACK THEM ON TO THE END OF BILLS AT THE LAST MOMENT BEFORE THEY GET PASSED AND GET THEM INTO LAW THAT WAY. It is still BS, and our rotten government officials should not be doing business that way thru the back door, but they do! year in and year out. Why? Because they can. And as long as they can get away with it, and enough B--ls to pull it off, then they will continue to do it whether it makes them look like whores or not. Our media is a controlled forum now. Majority of media is now owned by the good old boys. And who is going to write about their wrongdoings. Not our Media. Our Media knows no other storyline other that sexual predators. Don't get me wrong, sexual predators should not get away with being sexual predators? But isn't their a few other story lines out their other than sexual predators? Our media seems to NOT CARE ABOUT TO MANY OTHER STORIES. They seem to want us to look only at this subject and forget about any other crimes that our government might be commiting in our NATIONAL INTEREST or to line their own pocketbooks, but doesn't seem like any of it is trickling down to any of us. I doubt these directives were written so more money would trickle down into the consumers pocket. Nah, someone wants to take more money out of their pocket just like they are sticking it to us. Our grocery shelves prices here in california have almost doubled across the board in less than 4 years. I mean everything on each shelf, each product line AND SOMEONE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO INCLUDE THE GENERIC VERSION ALSO WITH THE ADDITIONAL COST OF LIVING INCREASES THAT THEY SOMEHOW WROTE INTO ALL THE NEW PRICES!! A LITTLE MANIPULATION GOES A LONG WAY. ONLY 4 YEARS, AND OVER 75% OF THE PRODUCTS ON THE SHELF ARE TAKING A HEFTY 40% OR MORE PROFIT ON THESE NEW PRICES. I look around me and most people I know were lucky to get a 3% cost of living increase over the last 3 or 4 years in their paychecks. But they decided to up the prices 40% higher before most of the masses even noticed. Walmart was the one who lead the charge on this little but significant product increases. They also I am hearing have their hand in a tidy number of generic products name brands overseas. What they do overseas is not held to the same standards as here in the US. Dummy companies are easily controlled. The Buyer ALSO issues the directives to the manufacturers of what smaller size they want a product to come out in. Walmart likes to buy overseas, warehouse everything themselves and save 25% on the cost of the products in the first place. Money talks and some manufacturers cannot afford to let the business go elsewhere. So Walmart is like Europe, In just that they don't have to have it written down as a directive. They talk, order manufacture to make product in a smaller container that goes from say like shredded cheese from 10 oz to 8 oz to 6oz, and we are paying 40% more for the same product that only 4 years ago we got 10 oz for a lot less. Manufacturer does want they say, and if you got your greedy fingers into the generic versions of the same namebrand products well you could just pretend to allow the namebrand companies of pulling off over 75% of across the board price increases as they repackage the products and put them back on the shelf at a higher price and then the generic version pretends they have to keep up with the big boys by raising their price too. But guess what, Walmart had written a directive to their own company ON how to increase profit margins by taking over a larger share of the market and in the cheaper markets overseas and in owning or getting pieces of the CHEAPER MARKETS OVERSEAS and also building and shutting down a lot of mom and pop businesses with their MEGA WALLYWORLDS. The company directive is still in play, they just haven't been able to build as many Mega Walmarts as they wanted yet so they only got a measly 1.5 percent increase of their projected profits by this time. Hey, 1.5 percent of billions is still a hefty 9 or ten billion increase over 10 years ago. But probably more like 30 BILLION. AND NOT MUCH OF THAT 30 BILLION TRICKLED DOWN TO THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES POCKETS OR HELPED OUT AND MADE IT EASIER TO BE UNHEALTHY IN AMERICA. THEY STICK IT TO THEIR EMPLOYEES REAL GOOD OVER AT WALMART. SOMETIMES A DECENT ENOUGH LIVING WAGE IS HARD TO COME BY FOR SOME, AND WHILE WALMART PRETENDS TO PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES A LITTLE MORE BY THE FRONT DOOR, THEY TAKE IT BACK FROM THEM THRU THE BACK DOOR THRU HEALTH DIRECTIVES THAT DON'T GIVE THEIR EMPLOYEES TOO MANY MUCH MORE OPTIONS THAN EUROPE SEEMS TO BE GIVING HERE. THEY GIVETH AND THEY TAKETH AWAY. OH BY THE WAY, WALMART I HEAR POSSIBLY MIGHT HAVE A HAND IN WHAT VITAMINS AND MINERALS GOT BANNED IN EUROPE A FEW MONTHS BACK. Word is that Walmart or Wallyworld to many of us, might of already had their fingers and toes and/or their money in the back pockets of a few dummy upped companys who just happen to also manufacture the generic versions of some of the same products that Europe banned, and here tell they might also have had some other friends buy some other companies of herbal remedy's and such. Hey if you can dummy up the corporation papers then you can probably find someone to dummy up the test results in places like Malaysia, or Thailand, that they also have a factory that is manufacturing the product and they only have to pay something like $2.00 or less a day to each of the employees they hire in those other countries. Well, if you have a hand or a buddy or two in the business of conducting safety tests on products like these, they I guess they will find a good enough BS story to roll back that 30 Year BS to say maybe only an 8 or 10 year to be automatically approved. And in the meantime, their must be another loophole that allows them to change how the manufacturers will have to provide evidence that their product is safe. Loopholes Europe. Look for the loopholes So it is a game of BS now, Europe. Jump in with both feet. bUT IF YOU GOT A MEDIA IN EUROPE THAT IS HALF AS BAD AS OURS, WELL THEN YOUR VOICE WILL NOT GET HEARD TOO LOUDLY. And they got one over on you a few months back when they banned the sale of all those vitamins. So get mad. Get even. FIND THE LOOPHOLES THEY WROTE FOR THE GOOD OLD BOYS. BECAUSE THAT IS THE NAME OF THE GAME. MONEY TALKS!!!! Make your money talk for you before they get a chance to take away your livelyhoods like they did in too many too count states in the United States. But watch out Europe, the mis/disinformation campaign is alive and well in Europe also as it is in the US. Whoever this Sue Croft is in this story, doesn't seem to have much to offer you other than excuses of why "Darn it just isn't right them doing this" to you all especially since she is only a what PART OF A EUROPEAN LOBBY GROUP but nothing as to her actual role as part of that european lobby group. Maybe it could be her job TO ONLY TALK ABOUT SOMETHING BUT NEVER DOING ANYTHING OTHER THAN TALK ABOUT IT BUT PRETEND BY TALKING ABOUT IT AND being part of a group called Consumers for Health Choice. Big Business buys these nickel and dime organizations day in and day out. A lot of them started out with good intentions but someone else's intentions ending up in their greedy hands before they had a chance to pick up steam and become a full blown in your face lobbying effort for the people. But again all it takes is the right BS in the right places. Loopholes tend to be the right BS in the right places most of the time - Raven . ; . MedicalConspiracies@google ; . "Zeus" < info Herbal Remedies under Threat from 'Ludicrous' Law Herbal remedies under threat from 'ludicrous' law By Nicole Martin (Filed: 31/10/2005) The sale of popular herbal remedies could be banned because of an "unworkable and impractical" European law, health campaigners said yesterday. The European Union directive, which came into force yesterday, was introduced to ensure that natural products sold over the counter were safe and of a high standard. Previously, most herbal remedies were available in Britain under Section 12 of the 1968 Medicines Act as "medicines exempt from licensing". Under the new directive, manufacturers will have to provide evidence that their products are safe before they are given a licence. Only products which have been on sale in the EU for 30 years will be automatically approved. Campaigners, including the actress Jenny Seagrove, attacked the directive as "ludicrous" and warned that companies could be forced out of business because of the high cost of conducting safety tests. She said: "The herbal remedy market should be regulated to ensure consumer safety, but this directive is far too heavy-handed." Sue Croft, of Consumers for Health Choice, a European lobby group, said the directive would deprive consumers of some of the most effective herbal remedies. "The directive lays down unduly onerous burdens on industry, for smaller businesses in particular, and jeopardises the future of many safe, popular and effective herbal remedies," she said. "It insists that manufacturers prove the 'stability' of its products, meaning they must show that all the active ingredients work. That's easy when you are dealing with a pharmaceutical drug. . . but hugely difficult when you are dealing with a combination of plants, which can be made up of up to 100 components. That's just impossible, unworkable and impractical." She also attacked the directive for excluding herbalists, which means that while "standards are to be imposed on the manufacturers and health food shops, herbalists can carry on making up bespoke remedies in their kitchen". About five million people are thought to be treated by complementary practitioners a year. Campaigners said that "single" remedies such as echinacea, which helps to fight off colds, will survive the directive. Not so fortunate will be "combination" products, such as bilberry extract with ginkgo biloba. The law comes into force only two months after the introduction of another EU directive, which banned the sale of more than 300 vitamins and minerals. Designed to harmonise the sale of vitamin and mineral supplements across the EU, it contains a list of approved nutrients that can be sold in Europe. The law also follows a study, commissioned by the Prince of Wales, recommending that complementary therapies should be more widely available on the NHS. Some manufacturers will have until 2011 to comply with the law, which was enforced by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, part of the Department of Health. Roy Alder, its director of executive support, said: "This legislation. . . will allow for more informed choices as registered products will be accompanied by reliable information about the product and how to use it."
