Hi George,

I am Elaine, I did NOT write that bit about talking to this Brian Congressman,

I have no idea who he is.

I have to agree with you, letters gets you no were, but money sure does.

The drug manufactures have a renewable never ending pocketbook and they have

the FDA in their purse strings.

If he did NOT give you a canned message, Why is it just like every other message they send out? do you really believe that he personally sits down and writes thousands of letter daily to each and every person that is protesting, that is very naive.

HE had no idea of the ephedra ban had been lifted over a year ago, and yet he had made a point to say it was still banned.

Why has the artificial sweeteners that the FDA approved that have killed people, still on the market? Destroy the genes and our race dies!

Splenda is considered sperm warfare it has a chlorocarbon like DDT, that isn't even legal in the environment and could hardly be conceived of as a food, yet the FDA approved it and this bill is NOT putting it under scrutiny, like they are our herbs that nature created and natural supplements,

This Bill is certainly NOT a good bill since it does not target the guilty like the drug companies that have killed hundreds of thousands of people with their medications and chemicals like the artificial sweeteners,This bill only only targets the innocent ie natural herbs and natural food supplements.

You should be ashamed of yourself, to sugar coat this bill, that not only gives more rights to the those that are taking our rights away! Tell us... do you work for him?

If you don't think you can make a difference by talking to your

congressman, then may I suggest, using another mode of communication

that you feel may make a difference? Dialog is the only thing that I

have found that works.

I have posted these responses so to help others understand the process

but if you cannot garner any meaningful clues or help from this then

what else can I do. I do what I can.
