Just some ideas. ~Rocky Home at Last Your home should be your sanctuary, a place where stress is left at the door and your soul is nurtured. For a more comforting environment, gradually implement the following changes into your home: Bring the outdoors in. Green plants, cut flowers and blooming bulbs, as well as pieces of wood, rocks and other natural elements can create a feeling of nature indoors. Surround your senses with beauty. Artwork, fragrance, smooth textures, and calming sounds all provide a pleasant environment in which to relax. Set aside a room or area for peace and calm. A place for spiritual reflection and meditation can provide shelter from noise and distraction. Clean out clutter. A low-maintenance home is refreshing

after a day of hectic meetings, errands and chores. Fewer items can mean less frustration. "Get off your ass and take your government back." ~Rocky Ward

Hi. Jumping in here. I find the concept of the home sanctuary very

valuable. Most people won't take the time to enact the simple and

good ideas that you mention below, but they can really be life-

changing. Especially at busy times of the year like these, I am

greatful that I have made certain spots in my home " a sanctuary " like

my meditation corner and my yoga space in the basement.

I also enjoy the concept of the home spa and am creating mine. I've

been reading a little blog/discussion on Holistic Wellness about

creating a home spa basket, which is an idea I like since it's easy.

I would also like to connect with people about finding all-natural

bath and body products, but that might be another message/forum.
