Your responses are all good, but there's an herbal product from Ayurvedic Medicine which is a TRUE miracle worker - ARJUNA. I've seen astonishing results from the use of this one product alone. I'm sure it has all kinds of vitamins and minerals in it, but whatever they are, this stuff is beyond belief.

There are many vitamins -- and more! -- that help the heart, including CoQ10,

vitamin E, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, potassium, garlic, onions, and so

on. Trying to decide which ONE thing will fix any health problem is allopathic

thinking -- and likely to be helpful to the three people on the planet it, by

chance, applies to. The rest of us will be left out in the cold, still.

Good living, low stress, healthy organic foods and good food choices, quality

supplements, and such are what helps the heart -- and the rest of our bodies!

Arjuna's interference in thyroid function and increased liver damage

may not be a good risk: benefit ratio. Though it does have

antioxidant and hypotension attributes, so do other herbs and

supplements.

Cardio-protective role of Terminalia arjuna bark extract is

possibly mediated through alterations in thyroid hormones.

" ...Although a suboptimal dose of the drug was found to be non-toxic

to the liver, it appeared to be of no use, as it could neither affect

the thyroid functions nor the cardiac lipid peroxidation (LPO). Since

in euthyroid animals, thyroid hormones were decreased and hepatic LPO

was increased, it is suggested that high amounts of this plant

extract should not be consumed, as hepatotoxicity as well as

hypothyroidism may be caused. "

I suspect a myth -- how does Hawthorne berry extract cleans the acid

out of the blood? Nothing came up about it in PubMed or Google :(

Hawthorn can help the blood to carry more oxygen, if I remember correctly. I don't know whether that helps to balance ph.
