Guest guest Posted December 6, 2006 Report Share Posted December 6, 2006 Hi everyone, I need as much info as I can get my hands on ASAP for my 28 yo son who is being told by his Dr. He needs surgery to remove 12-14 inches of his colon due to a abcess from diverticulitis. I have the basic info here but need to compile as much as I can and snail mail it to him. He is told he has no choice. He is hospitalized now. At this point it is also possible he will need a colostomy bag. We are frantic here trying to keep him calm and hopeful. He is too damn young for this. I can't bear to think of them doing such a life altering thing to him if it can be avoided. Maybe I am just wishful thinking. Appreciate your thoughts on this.
