POWERFUL ANTIBIOTIC Silver is a powerful antibiotic because it acts as a catalyst, disabling the particular enzyme that many bacteria, fungus, and viruses use for their metabolism. The disease causing organism either starve or suffocate, for many others their internal protoplast collapse if their bodily charge is opposite to the silver particles, and still others are unable to reproduce themselves. Yet the silver particles, if small enough, do not harm the human or animal host. "LIKE" VITAMIN C Though a colloid of silver is inorganic and vitamin C is organic, there are similarities between them. True colloids of silver contain an electrically charged trace element of silver particles that remain suspended in a solution indefinitely. Colloids of silver that require a "stabilizer" indicate that the particles are too big and the charge cannot maintain the silver in a dispersed state. In true colloids the charge keeps the particles evenly distributed and they do not settle out. Why? Because the particles of a true colloid of silver (1-100 billionth of a meter in size) are small enough not to be affected by gravity. Like vitamin C, if a person ingests more than is necessary, the excess silver is shunted out of the body through the mechanism of metal enzymes. You cannot overdose on true colloid of silver. HISTORICAL USAGES As a true colloid of silver, it is both a remedy and a prevention of many infections. The first known silver colloidal suspension used as a medicament was as far back as 1896, but even the ancient Greeks and Romans used silver containers to keep liquids fresh. American settlers, traveling across the west, often put a silver dollar in milk to delay its spoiling. SOME PRE-1938 USES The March 1978 issue of Science Digest mentioned that there are more than 650 disease causing organisms that silver is effective against but did not list the organisms nor provided a comprehensive bibliography. However, the following is a list of some documented pre-1938 uses of silver particularly in a colloidal form: Anthrax Bacilli, Appendicitis (post-op), B. Coli, B. Dysenteria, B. Tubercolosis, Bacillary Dysentery, Bladder Irritation, Boils, Bromidrosis in Feet, burns and Wounds of the Cornea, Cerebro-spinal Meningitis, Colitis, Cystitis, Dermatitis suggestive of Toxaemia, Diplococcus, Diptheria, Ear Affections, Enlarged Prostrate, Gonorrhoea, Impetigo, Infantile Diseases, Influenza, Intestinal troubles, Healing of various Lesions, Para-Typhoid, Pneumococci, Ringworm, Sepsis, Shingles, Soft Sores, Sprue, various Staphlococci, Streptococci, Warts, and Whooping Cough. It is interesting enough that in the 1990’s we have verified that the silver mineral does have an effect on many bacteria, virus, and fungus; we have also found some limitations. Silver does not kill or inhibit all forms of bacteria, virus or fungus. Actually, that is good news to you. If silver kills all organisms then it would also kill essential bacteria necessary to maintain life-human or animal. MODERN USAGES As in the pre-1938 period, various applications continue to include oral, topical, by injection, as a nasal, ear or eye drops and even on other sensitive tissues. Colloidal Silver has been applied directly to cuts, scrapes, eczemas, acne and open sores. A few drops on a bandaid and worn over abrasions, open sores, and even warts colloidal silver has been successfully used in the treatment of these conditions. Depending on an individuals body weight, age, metabolism, and general health, a typical daily dosage of colloidal silver has ranged from as low as an eight of a teaspoon to as high as three tablespoons. On file are reports from many people who have reported the prevention or reduction of several illnesses during changing seasons, or the rapid recovery of current illnesses, it is almost like having another immune system. Others, after taking an individually determined dosage have gone through a cleansing of bodily toxins prior to full recovery from illnesses. Documentation reports no adverse side effects nor any harm to the person taking the colloidal silver. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS Other than keeping the product out of direct and prolonged sunlight, there is no need for special storage of colloidal silver. This product may be kept on the kitchen or bathroom shelf, in the refrigerator, in your pocket, in the car, wherever you wish. If frozen, simply allow to thaw and colloidal silver will return to its original dispersed state. HOWEVER, silver is photosensitive and will turn color and become less effective if kept in the sunlight. SUMMARY Life processes nutrients in the colloidal form.
