The Federation for Safe and Effective Medicine (FSEM) is associated with the International Medical Veritas Association (IMVA) whose basic mission is to seek out the safest and most natural treatment alternatives possible for the principle illnesses confronting humanity. FSEM is the child of this research and the IMVA's intense commitment to medical truth and medical freedom.

FSEM proposes a great simplification in medicine. Dr Walter Modell of Cornell University's Medical College wrote thirty years ago, "When will they realize that there are too many drugs? No fewer than 150,000 preparations are now in use. About 15,000 new mixtures and dosages hit the market each year, while about 12,000 die off. Since 1961, the number of drug preparations marketed world wide has increased to 205,000 with a proportional rise in new maladies.”

FSEM endorses several basic substances that can safely enhance our healing and help us avoid more toxic pharmaceutical drugs. We have chosen several natural substances that together form a safe and extremely effective protocol for the widest possible range of disorders. We cannot overlook the fact that almost all disease today is either accompanied by increased toxicity in the body or is caused by it.
