My doctor is about to prescribe me beta-blockers, for premature ventricular

contractions (heart beating irregularly). Does anyone have links or sites I

can visit to learn more what to do about this without using the beta-blocker?

THANKS!

I was having a lot of PVC's for about 6 months. I held off going to

the doctor because I knew he would tell me to lay off the coffee

which I drink in large quantities. I started taking coenzyme-Q 100mg

twice a day and it seems they have stopped. I don't know if it's just

a coincidence, just sharing my own experiences. From what I've read,

PVC's are harmless unless you have some other underlying heart

damage. Beta blockers have about a 50% chance of eliminating PVC's I

believe. Stop coffee (taper off to avoid headaches) first before you

try pharmaceuticals.-- In , Jent
