Guest guest
Er, I must have missed a post, but if it was an "almonds prevent cancer" kind of post the almonds referred to are bitter almonds, not sweet almonds they sell at Wal-Mart. Sweet almonts don't contain the cyanide compound. Duncan>> Tell me where anyone sells "bitter almonds". Btw, in the Summer when peaches are available, I "pit out" the pits, crack em, and blend that neat little seed in with my almonds. Gives it a nice more almondy flavor. If you don't let the (rotting, waste) peaches lay on the ground for more than a couple days, the pit does not begin to darken and mold, I have noticed. Remember too that "the best minds in standard medicine" deny that Laetrile/Amygdalin/Vit B17 even exists, which is supposed to be a substance in those peach pits. Cutting back to bitter almonds and that you think regular store-bought almonds have no value, tell me more? ..
