- October 20, 2006

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced yesterday a labeling change to the breakthrough cancer drug Gleevec. The drug's label now mentions the risk of severe congestive heart failure.

On Thursday, the maker of Gleevec - Novartis - issued a letter, informing healthcare professionals of the increased heart risks associated with the drug.

(You may NOT have a claim against your doctor or the makers of these drugs, if you get or die from severe congestive heart failure, such as this drug is disclosing or from anything thing that has been disclosed.

Once the information has been put into a disclosure form for the public, you can not blame anyone but yourself; the drug companies have complied with the law, they DISCLOSED it to YOU, you are the only one that is responsible for YOU, before taking any drugs...READ the disclosure and then make your decisions wisely.

If you do not have a disclosure for a particular drug ask your pharmacist and READ it.)
