Guest guest
Try Metagenics 800-692-9400, or Douglas Laboratories 888-368-4522... there are many more and I'm sure others will chime in. Guest guest
With the recent discussion on vitamins, I was wondering if anyone can point me to a reference on the TCM nature of different vitamins? Thanks, Mark
Guest guest
I use different companies for different products. My personal favorites are Pure Encapulations, Thorne, and Vital Nutrients; Research Nutrition and Biogenesis carry some pretty specialized products. I'm sure others will disagree, but I just don't care for Metagenics or Standard Process. Many of my colleagues in the chiropractic community are very loyal to both product lines. I personally think there is a lot of hype from both companies and that the products are not potent enough to reach clinical efficacy. Keep in mind that most of the US population is so nutritionally deficient that virtually any quality supplement will make a difference. Bear in mind that all private label vitamins are more expensive to the consumer. I only carry things people can't get at the big box stores. Guest guest
You really have to research them out. Call the companies and ask them directly. Do your vitamins have any Soy in them??? Are your supplements made from GE sources??? Etc. etc. etc. You need to become an avid label reader and let those fingers do the walking for you. These companies do have to tell you if you ask. I am new to taking vitamins and the whole herb thing. I read in a recent post, (RE: OMG) that the vitamins I bought from the drug store may not be any good or may even be bad for me. How can I tell which vitamins are natural/good? What is in these so called " bad " vitamins? Is it best to buy more expensive ones? Are there any cheap vitamins out there that are natural? Guest guest
I've found a real good vitamin from the company I work for. There are 157 ingredients in it. Not sure if it's THE BEST, but it is all natural. gotta be better than I was doing before, which was One a Day for Women! ~Robin

I would like to hear feedback from you if you have tried this vitamin? Thanks for taking the time to help me. I'm new to this and need all the help I can get. Guest guest
I wouldn't waste your money - look at the ingredients - mostly isolated and synthetic vitamins and minerals. Also, a vegetarian would not use this product because the company uses shark cartilage, and colostrum from cows. And the capsules are gelatin, which is either cow or horse hooves. Go with whole foods and whole food supplements. Carol , " annehunter61 " <annehunter61 wrote: > > > I just bought these vitamins and thought about giving the business a > try also.
