To The Editor, India Together. http://indiatogether.org/index.htm Dear Sir, I am an anti-vaccine activist who took this stand because of a personal vaccine adverse reaction 27 years ago from which I am yet to recover. I have since studied on the subject and discovered that vaccines are a bundle of live, attenuated and genetically modified viruses, heavy metals, neurotoxins, carcinogens, immunosuppressants, contaminated human and animal serum and antibiotics that ought not be given without a skin test. There is no reason why this concoction should be injected into pregnant mothers and infants repeatedly in the name of disease prevention. You will also be shocked to know that no long term studies have ever been carried out on vaccines. They are tested for 48

hours to three weeks and against another vaccine and not a placebo. It has also been suspected by doctors of the IMA, and discussed in a meeting, that the current OPV (Oral Polio Vaccine) campaign is a phase IV clinical trial being carried out in India without following the required protocols. Protests against vaccines are rampant in the US, European countries, Asian countries and even in China but in India we seem to be resigned to our fate. As vaccines are government sponsored and are the first line "defence" against diseases, the people are overawed and accept whatever explanation is given to them by the doctors. Today we are well aware that most childhood disorders like autism, ADHD, PDDs, infantile diabetes, cancers, and various other autoimmune disorders could be caused by repeated vaccinations. It has already been admitted by the Indian Press that over 3,00,000 children have suffered Acute Flaccid

Paralysis (an euphemism for polio) due to the OPV. There exists over 40,00,000 autistic children and adults in the country, the number could be double as the condition is not properly understood by the common doctor. There exists clinical research studies that raise the suspicion that autism is a result of encephalitis caused by vaccine ingredients. The condition is known as Pre Autistic Encephalitis and is very common. This is the reason why we observe children shrieking for many days after being vaccinated. Under this situation, and perceiving the explosion of chronic diseases in the country and also taking into consideration the deplorable immune strength of the general population, it is imperative that the vaccination process be subject to close and unbiased scrutiny. Till such scrutiny takes place it would be in the country's interest to stop the vaccination process entirely. Even members of the national immunisation committee in India are not in favour of vaccines. Conscientious doctors of the Indian Medical Association have pointed out that hygine, sanitation, nutritious food, eradication of poverty, better living conditions, education, clean up of the environment and allied subjects are far more important in preventing diseases than vaccines. The government spends tens of thousands of crores on debatable vaccines thus depriving crucial sectors of much needed attention. Will your publication focus on the issue?
