Guest guest
The page starts out with an incredible goof with regard to natural asthma cures. The " dairy " advice parrots popular perception and omits that undenatured whey does not produce sensitivity reactions AND the glutathione generated by it neatly addresses the hallmark of the asthma condition, depleted glutathione in the lungs. If this was researched rather than just another opinion article using uninformed readers as its source of information it would have mentioned glutathione as an important player because it is the body's natural and in fact PRIMARY antioxidant and detoxifier. The lungs are the third biggest users of glutathione following the liver and kidneys, and glutathione increase in the lungs is probably THE most important part of asthma and COPD therapy, or any therapy aimed at stopping oxidative stress. Here's the reference sheet: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/glutathione-references.html So, the term " dairy " should specifically exempt undenatured whey, particularly the isolates, because the problematic components have been removed. Also, using a stimulant like ephedra is hardly an asthma cure. Did sufferers have asthma because of an ephedrine deficiency? No. The moral? Watch your information sources; the devil is in the details. Duncan Crow http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/
Guest guest
Although I have a clue what is undenatured whey, but I want to hear it from the horse's mouth. So, please tell if I can make the whey at home by boiling the milk and separating the solid part with the help of lemon juice and the remaining liquid is whey. Right? If you think some solid particles of milk still remain in this whey, then I can strain or filter the liquid through a cloth. Will that remaining liquid then be the " undenatured " ? I must thank you for a very illuminating mail on asthma. I am an asthma pt myself. So far I have never needed cortisol or any medicine except one tablet of anti-histamine in winter two years ago. I have been managing it by niacin and ascorbic acid combination and avoiding milk (I have tested myself for milk) and avoiding extreme smelling sprays/deodorants/kitchen gases/petrol fumes etc. Not milk as such, but perhaps I will be able to tolerate whey? What do you say? Thanks again. Ratan. --- Duncan Crow <duncancrow wrote: > The page starts out with an incredible goof with > regard to > natural asthma cures.
