MY THEORY ABOUT THE CHOICE OF FLIGHT 93 WAS THAT 1993 WAS THE YEAR

IN WHICH SADDAM FIRST TRIED TO ASSASSINATE FORMER PRESIDENT BUSH IN

KUWAIT, IT WAS ALSO THE YEAR IN WHICH SADDAM HUSSEIN FIRST TRIED

TO DESTROY THE WORLD TRADE CENTER. IT TURNED OUT TO BE AN UNLUCKY

NUMBER FOR SADDAM HUSSEIN BECAUSE THE PASSENGERS ON FLIGHT 93 BECAME

HEROES AND STOPPED THE PLANE FROM GOING INTO THE WHITE HOUSE.

The San Francisco-bound jet had turned toward Washington and U.S.

fighter jets were flying to intercept it when it crashed. All 44

people aboard were killed.

(CBS) A high-ranking al Qaeda detainee told investigators the

intended target of United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed into a

Pennsylvania field on Sept. 11, was the White House.

Government sources said Abu Zubaydah, now in U.S. custody, is

believed to be the source of the information. He is being

interrogated by U.S. officials at an undisclosed location.

Investigators have linked Zubaydah directly to hijackers on board

Flight 93.

United Flight 93 took off from Newark, N.J., and crashed in Somerset

County, Pa.. A recorder on the plane and calls made to people on the

ground indicate passengers fought for control with the hijackers

before it went down.

The San Francisco-bound jet had turned toward Washington and U.S.

fighter jets were flying to intercept it when it crashed. All 44

people aboard were killed.

Officials previously had assumed the White House was a likely

target, but said the Capitol and CIA headquarters in McLean, Va.,

near Washington were other possibilities. Abu Zubaydah is believed to

have played a key role in organizing the Sept. 11 attacks, officials

said. As al Qaeda's top operational planner, he ran the Khalden camp

in Afghanistan, where U.S. investigators have learned many of the

Sept. 11 hijackers trained. This suggests Abu Zubaydah may have had

direct contact with the hijackers and chosen them for training.

He also had telephone contacts with at least one Arab student at

U.S. flight schools, according to a July 10, 2001, memo from a

Phoenix FBI agent.

The CIA, FBI and Pakistani authorities captured and wounded Abu

Zubaydah in a raid by in Faisalabad, Pakistan, in March. He is

believed to have masterminded the failed millennium bombing plots in

Los Angeles and Jordan, and has been linked to failed plots on the

U.S. embassies in Paris and Sarajevo.

Abu Zubaydah was also indirectly linked, through a web of

associations with other al Qaeda members in Europe, to lead Sept. 11

hijacker Mohammed Atta and his cell in Hamburg, Germany. Three

members of the Hamburg cell were suicide hijackers; three others are

still at large. Ziad Jarrah, believed to be the pilot-hijacker of

Flight 93, was a member of the Hamburg cell. "

The first attack on the World Trade Center on February 26th, 1993.

The February 26th, 1993 attack marked the 11th anniversary to the

day of the declaration by the Reagan-Bush Administration of February

26th, 1982 that Iraq was no longer a state sponsor of terrorism and

as such was eligible for American loans and grants, which it

subsequently got.

The February 26th, 1993 attack also marked the 2nd anniversary to the

day of the liberation of Kuwait by the U.S. in the first Gulf War.

The World Trade Center was attacked by terrorists associated with

Sheik Rahman on February 26th, 1993. It was Sheik Rahman's group

that murdered Egyptian President Anwar Sadat on the 8th anniversary

to the day of the 1973 Yom Kippur War, October 6th.

Sheik Rahman's son was subsequently found with bin Laden's group

in Afghanistan when the U.S. liberated Afghanistan.

On July 7th, 1994 Yasser Arafat, PLO chairman drove from Egypt into

Gaza, after 27 years in exile. What Arafat was doing was using the

date of July 7th to re-write a perceived wrong he had felt some

years earlier on another July 7th. It was on July 7th 1986 that the

government of Jordan closed the offices of Yasser Arafat's al-Fatah.

Because a bus bombing occurred in London on July 7th, 2005 it struck

me that the nation that has endured more bus bombings than any other

nation is Israel. There may be a connection between the July 7th,

2005 attacks in London and the terrorists who have targeted Israel

with bus bombings for years.

Recently terrorists in Iraq murdered Egypt's envoy to Iraq.

News reports from al-Jazeera and al-Arabia satellite TV stations

said that Egypt's top diplomat in Iraq to Iraq, Eyhab al-Sharif, had

been executed.

Meantime, Al-Qaida organization in Iraq, led by Abu Musab al-

Zarqawi, had threatened in a statement on the Internet to execute

the chairman of the Egyptian diplomatic mission al-Sharif.

The threat to execute Sharif came a short time after al-Qaida

organization in Iraq issued pictures for the identity cards of the

Egyptian diplomat as an evidence that they are the ones which

kidnapped him.

The statement said the legitimate court of al-Qaida organization in

Mesopotamia decided to " send the ambassador of the state of Egypt to

the Mujahideen (indivduals from Egypt and other states that go to

Iraq to fight with the insurgents) to execute the death penalty

against him. " The statement considered that " the embassies in

Baghdad are but monitoring sites to snipe the arriving Mujahideen

and preventing them from having access to their brothers in Jihad in

the land of Mesopotamia (Iraq) and in Afghanistan. "

In an attempt to prove that the Egyptian ambassador is their

possession, al-Qaida organization published documents including a

driving Sharif's license and a work card for him at the foreign

ministry and another one for health insurance. On Tuesday the

organization claimed responsibility for kidnapping Sharif. "

Saddam used Rahman's group to punish Sadat for failing to defeat

Israel in the attack on Israel of October 6th, 1973. Saddam also

used Sheik Rahman's group to hit the Speaker of the Egyptian

Parliament during the first Gulf War when Egypt sided with America

against Iraq.

Saddam, acting like a child who is deprived of a toy, who

subsequently

breaks that toy, set fire to the Kuwaiti oil fields as he was being

driven out of Kuwait during the first Gulf War in 1991.

the Washington Monument. The Capitol, although a bigger target, is

similarly situated. There are buildings on all sides except for the

west side, which faces the Mall. Again, for a controlled, straight-in

approach, a pilot first would need to avoid the Washington Monument,

and then fly straight down the Mall. There is more room to do this,

but again, it would take considerable skill. Moreover, the buildings

in Roslyn, just across the river from and to the west of the Mall,

would have to be cleared, which means the plane's altitude would

probably be too high, or the angle of descent too steep to permit a

successful attack by anyone other than a skilled, experienced pilot. "

engaging in what to them was a private joke regarding their plans

Moving the money...

In the welter of events following the bombing of the World Trade

Center in Feb. 26, 1993, few noticed that the first man arrested,

Mohammed Salameh—the poor, unemployed illegal immigrant—

offered $5 million for bail. Where could he get this kind of money?

The judge refused bail. But was the source of Salameh's offer the

same as the one that funded the eight men—arrested shortly

afterward—who planned to blow up Manhattan's tunnels and bridges

and to assassinate public officials?

Were the same money sources behind the final attack on the World

Trade Center on Sept. 11?

.... For a long time, there has been evidence that terrorist,

international drug trafficking and criminal organizations use the

same fund-raising methods to enrich themselves.

Yet no one seemed to connect the dots. And no one seriously tried to

crack down on their financing.

Bin Laden's is only one among many hostile international criminal

organizations, often state-sponsored, that will do whatever they can

to diminish the status of the United States as the only superpower.

According to a State Department report, the Taliban, who are at bin

Laden's service, has the advantage of controlling the world's

largest heroin production and distribution in the world.

Since the Taliban took over Afghanistan, the heroin production

soared to hundreds of tons each year. In 1999 alone, the world

production of heroin was estimated at 500 metric tons; 400 were

produced by the Taliban and available to fund bin Laden and his

associates worldwide. First warning

The writing was on the wall on July 5, 1991, when the Bank of

England shut down what was the most important Islamic bank in the

world, the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI). This

criminal entity was created by the Pakistani Aaga Hassan Abedi " to

fight the evil influence of the West " ; to help with the creation of

the " Islamic Bomb " ; to finance all Muslim terrorist organizations;

and to launder the money that was generated mostly by illicit drug

trafficking and other illegal activities, including arms

trafficking.

When BCCI went belly up, we learned from thousands of documents that

Abu Nidal—the notorious Palestinian terrorist organization that

now enjoys the hospitality of Iraq's Saddam Hussein, the Palestine

Liberation Organization (PLO), Hezbollah and bin Laden—had

accounts in the bank. By the end of the 1980s, the " special

services " provided by BCCI included access to Western humanitarian

and international development funds, as well as drug money

laundering, secret transfers of cash and bribes.

A " Black Network, " a special enforcement unit supported by Abu Nidal

and other terrorist organizations, operated from Pakistan. The same

Pakistan that harbored bin Laden for many years while its officials

told the United States that they didn't know his whereabouts. And

the same Pakistan that for decades, even according to the State

Department's annual report, had been a major drug trafficking and

money laundering center.

 

Western blindness

Yet, now more importantly, we also discovered that the American and

British governments knew and kept the bank open for a long time. The

bank " that would bribe God " was able to get away with its criminal

activities for decades due to Abedi's clever portrayal of the Muslim

nations as victims of Western—and particularly U.S.—

" imperialism. " And when the bank was shuttered, the accusation in

the Muslim/Arab and Third World countries was that the U.S. and the

United Kingdom governments closed the bank to curtail the growing

fiscal power of Muslim countries.

Like Abedi, anti-American, anti-Western terrorist and radical Muslim

states and organizations, such as the Taliban, Al Qaeda, Hamas,

Hezbollah, the PLO, Iraq and Iran, use Western democratic rhetoric

to their advantage. But it is the willful blindness, mainly toward

the growing volume of drug money laundering, exercised by Western

bankers on the one hand and Western politicians on the other, that

makes money laundering possible, despite the many laws and

international conventions to control this phenomenon.

The BCCI was the first warning to the West. The second warning about

the abuse of European and American financial markets by terrorist

organizations, as well as their involvement in the illicit arms and

drug trade, was made in February 1994 by the British National

Criminal Intelligence Service (NCIS).

The Organized Crime Unit of the NCIS warned that Middle East

terrorist groups and states were targeting the financial centers of

London, Frankfurt and other Western countries, and that they favor

illegal drug trafficking, money laundering and fraud....

Clinton appeasement

Despite its stated policy of not negotiating with terrorists, the

Clinton administration went out of its way to appease a few of the

20th century's most notorious terror groups: the Revolutionary Armed

Forces of Colombia (FARC), the PLO and the Irish Republican Army.

All are heavily involved in the drug trade.

On the eve of the 1993 handshake on the White House lawn between

Israeli Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin and PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat,

Britain's National Criminal Intelligence Service estimated the PLO's

ill-gotten gains to total between $8 billion to $10 billion, with an

annual income of about $1.5 billion to $2 billion from " donations,

extortion, payoffs, illegal arms dealing, drug trafficking, money

laundering, fraud, etc. "

Since then, Washington has only aided and abetted the PLO. Since the

start of the Oslo process, Arafat has received at least $3 billion

more from the United States and the international community, without

any serious demand for accountability, according to a report this

year to Congress. Arafat, in well-documented instances, has been

systematically skimming off portions of these funds, as he has with

monies given to him on behalf of the refugees in the camps.

The PLO was in the drug trafficking business almost from the

beginning. Operating from Lebanon, under Habash's able leadership

and assisted by a PLO-owned shipping company SUMUD, the organization

exported hashish, opium, heroin and cocaine, first to Europe and

later even to the United States and Australia. In return, it

obtained weapons for their war against Israel and the West, and

amassed a massive treasure trove. In addition, the PLO and Arafat,

who enjoy the financial and strategic support of Hussein and bin

Laden, have the distinction of being the organization that

promoted " suicide bombers " as a weapon.

Yet the Clinton administration subsidized a multitude of radical

Palestinian groups, ranging from Arafat's Fatah branch of the PLO

and its military wing, the Tanzim, to the socialist-nationalist

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), headed by

George Habash, all with close ties to bin Laden, Iraq and Iran.

....It was the Clinton White House that, despite evidence to the

contrary, removed Syria from its list of the drug trafficking

countries, to entice Syria to join the " peace process " in the Middle

East.

The failure of that process and the compromises the United States

has made to maintain an illusion of peaceful prospects had no doubt

added to the Muslim radical terrorists' resolve to attack what they

see as a naive and vulnerable America.

In another example of self-delusion, in 1999, then Secretary of

State Madeleine Albright suggested a U.S.-led coalition to negotiate

with the FARC and supported Colombia President Pastrana's " land for

peace " initiative, despite a report from the General Accounting

Office that the FARC is running a major international criminal

enterprise that, among other things, supplies hundreds of tons of

cocaine and heroin to the U.S. black market.

This second Clinton " land for peace " initiative gave half of

Colombia to the narco-terrorist FARC, while doing nothing to

diminish its violence or appetite to control the rest of the

Vietnam could not " win the hearts and minds of the Vietnamese

people " , so too a Roman Catholic President of the United States

could not hope to do so, given the Vietnamese resentment of the

French Roman Catholic colonialists, as well as of Diem and Nhu.

So JFK had to go too.

Lee Harvey Oswald was the nephew of Dutz Murrett or Dutch Morretti,

a lieutenant in the Carlos Marcello crime family which ran the

underworld in New Orleans. RFK was trying to deport Marcello. New

Orleans was part a former French colony, part of the Louisiana

purchase from France.

Marcello was THE major importer of heroin, refined into heroin in

Marseilles, France, and grown as opium in Turkey and IN THE GOLDEN

TRIANGLE of South East Asia.

He then distributed the stuff to the other MAFIA families in the USA.

If America lost in South Vietnam and got kicked out of the GOLDEN

TRIANGLE, a major source of his dope would not be so easily

Saddam Hussein was in charge of the OFFICIAL ASSASSINATION BUREAU in

Iraq at the time. It was called the JIHAZ HANEEN.

Today Saddam Hussein's lawyer is RAMSEY CLARK. Clark was attorney

general of the US under President Johnson. Johnson became President

when JFK was assassinated. He promoted Ramsey Clark from his high

position in the US Justice Department to Attorney General.

As Attorney General Clark's infamous CLARK PANEL ruled that JFK,

RFK, and Martin Luther King, Jr. were all killed by lone assassins,

no conspiracy in any of those assassinations.

So said Ramsey Clark. Ramsey Clark's family " allegedly " had members,

including his own father: TOM CLARK, a former Attorney General and

Supreme Court Justice, who " allegedly " had deep ties to CARLOS

MARCELLO.

Among other clients of RAMSEY CLARK: nazi war criminals, Rwandan war

criminals, the Achille Lauro hijackers, the so-called

" PLO " , Arafat, Sheik Rahman's gang from the first World Trade Center

bombing, the Sheik's son was found with bin Laden's terrorists in

Afghanistan when the US liberated Afghanistan, Saddam Hussein,

etc.etc.etc.

In 1973 Arafat took the US Ambassador to the Sudan Cleo Noel and his

aide hostage in Khartoum, Sudan. Arafat demanded that the US release

SIRHAN SIRHAN to him. When the US failed to do so Arafat ordered the

hostages killed.

The old saying is DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES.

Arafat may well have sent SIRHAN SIRHAN to assassinate RFK on the

1st anniversary of the SIX DAY WAR,in which Israel re-united

JERUSALEM and liberated the rest of Judea, and Samaria (the so-

called " west bank " ) as well as Gaza and the Golan Heights.

SIRHAN SIRHAN'S cousin, also named SIRHAN SIRHAN, was busted by

Israel after a terrorist attack on Israel more recently. He was

linked to a gang of terrorists called the TANZIM, under Arafat's

direct control.

According to Chris Matthews' MSNBC special on the JFK assassination

RAMSEY CLARK was the first person into the EAST ROOM to see JFK's

body when it was brought back from Dallas.

Someone had to arrange the route of the JFK motorcade in Dallas.

Someone had to bring the motorcade into the line of fire in front of

the Texas School Book depository where LEE HARVEY OSWALD was working.

If America lost in Vietnam and was kicked out of Vietnam it would no

longer be tied down in Vietnam. It would then be able to defend

Israel if it were attacked.

The arab terrorists did not want to see America defeated in Vietnam.

If America were defeated in Vietnam it might come to Israel's rescue

when Israel was attacked.

To make sure America was not defeated in Vietnam JFK had to be

assassinated if the arab terrorists were to keep the US tied down in

Vietnam and less able to come to Israel's rescue.

In 1968 Gene McCarthy, a liberal Democratic US Senator from

Minnesota ran for the Democratic Presidential nomination.

Gene McCarthy was endorsed by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. two weeks

before Dr. King was assassinated. CARLOS MARCELLO has been linked to

the King assassination according to a HISTORY CHANNEL cable

television special.

Gene McCarthy wanted to end the Vietnam war and bring the American

troops home from Vietnam.

If America left Vietnam it would be more able to come to Israel's

rescue if Israel were attacked. Israel was attacked, by surprise in

the October 6th, 1973 YOM KIPPUR WAR.

To stop Gene McCarthy from getting the Democratic nomination the

Democratic opposition to the Vietnam war had to be split.

A live Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would have been able to tell what

was then called " the black community " that he had endorsed Gene

McCarthy for President. A dead Dr. King could not do so. Dr. King

endorsed Gene two weeks before he was killed.

Once Dr. King was killed RFK could enter the Democratic presidential

race and claim that he was the candidate of what was then

called " the black community " .

It was essential to divide the opponents of the Vietnam war in the

Democratic party to stop Gene McCarthy from being nominated by the

Democrats for President in 1968 if the war were to continue and

Israel were to be unable to count on US support in the event of an

arab attack.

At the time RAMSEY CLARK was a pro-Vietnam war politician.

He screamed " Tell it to Hanoi! " at opponents of the Vietnam war.

So Dr. King was assassinated. James Earl Ray said that he did not

agree with RAMSEY CLARK about the King assassination not being part

of any conspiracy.

James Earl Ray is dead. Dr. King is dead.

RFK had to be assassinated after he had taken California but BEFORE

the New York State Democratic primary.

RFK was a US Senator representing New York state in 1968. He was a

Democrat. If he had lost the New York state Presidential Democratic

Primary to Gene McCarthy in 1968 RFK would have to have dropped out

of the race and endorsed Gene McCarthy for President.

McCarthy was 7 points ahead of Nixon in the Polls.

If McCarthy had been nominated he would have won the election and

withdrawn US forces from South Vietnam. This would have meant that

the US would be more able to defend Israel from the eventual arab

PEARL HARBOR style sneak-attack that would actually occur on October

6th, 1973 as the YOM KIPPUR WAR. It was called the YOM KIPPUR WAR

because it was launched on YOM KIPPUR, the most sacred day in the

Jewish religion which occurred on October 6th, 1973.

So RFK had to be assassinated to stop Gene McCarthy, who was a good

friend of Israel and of Israel's Prime Minister, Golda Meir, from

pulling the US out of Vietnam, because the arab terrorists needed

America to remain tied down in Vietnam, and thus less able to come

to Israel's defense.

A dead Bobby Kennedy could not be defeated by McCarthy in the New

York state 1968 Democratic Presidential Primary. Only a live Bobby

Kennedy could be defeated. Only a live Bobby Kennedy could then have

been forced to drop out of the race and endorse Gene McCarthy for

President.

McCarthy was going to beat RFK in that primary. McCarthy was

immensely popular in liberal New York State. It was McCarthy's good

showing in the New Hampshire 1968 Democratic presidential primary

that had forced President Johnson to announce that he would not seek

re-election on March 31st, 1968.

" Who Shot Martin Luther King? The federal government, and Tennessee

authorities, aggressively pushed the lone-gunman theory-although this

explanation was rejected out of hand by millions of Americans. At

Ray's sentencing, as the state was telling the jury what the evidence

would have been at a trial, Ray interrupted the proceedings to say he

did not agree with the statement of Ramsey Clark, U.S. attorney

general, that there was no conspiracy. Three days later Ray tried to

withdraw his plea of guilty, even though that would subject him to a

possible death sentence. The court refused. From that day forward

there has been a tug-of-war between conspiracy believers and

lone-gunman advocates. In 1979 the House Select Committee on

Assassinations issued a report saying there probably was a

the Jewish National Fund, joined with Martin Luther King III on

Thursday night, Feb. 3, to celebrate unity between Israel and

African-Americans on the occasion of Black History Month. The event

honored King and Dr. Vera King Farris, President of Stockton College

and a leading scholar in Holocaust studies. Speaking to about a 100

guests, Ambassador Sisso said that those attending the gathering

" share the burden on the shoulders of every man, woman and child who

has ever been persecuted, whether because of their skin or their

religious beliefs. " He added that friendship and education are the

instruments with which to battle the pathology of hate, citing Dr.

Martin Luther King's vision for creating a more just society. Martin

Luther King III, citing his father, said that " injustice anywhere is

a

threat to justice everywhere. " He called for Jewish and African

Americans to continue in his father's path, stressing the importance

of the relationship between the two groups. Dr. Farris, who recently

received an honorary degree from the Ben- Gurion University in Be'er

Sheva, and who has visited Israel many times, thanked Ambassador

Sisso

with a greeting in Hebrew, and continued: " It was Martin Luther King

Jr. who told me I could have a vision, and mine was the Holocaust. "

She recounted the activities of Stockton College Holocaust research

center, which has worked to ensure legislation in the state of New

Jordan was derailed in June before it was even officially announced.

On June 4, Senators John Heinz (R-PA) and Edward Kennedy (D-MA)

introduced a resolution, with 67 cosponsors, opposing an arms sale

to Jordan under present conditions. By mid-month five other senators

had added their signature to the resolution-which states, in part,

that arms sales to Arab countries " jeopardize both the security of

Israel and progress toward peace in the Middle East. " Facing such

determined resistance, the Administration decided, once again, to

postpone action on the sale for the indefinite future. "

Mr. Boshwitz, Mr. Nickles, Mr. Packwood, Mr. Heinz, Mr. Domenici,

Mr. McCain, Mr. Symms, Mr. D'Amato, Mr. Pressler, Mr. Hatch, Mr.

following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Foreign

Whereas a 1975 agreement between Israel and the United States

prohibits talks between United States officials and the Palestine

Liberation Organization until the Palestine Liberation Organization

recognizes Israel's right to exist and accepts United Nations

Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338;

Whereas section 1302(b) of the International Security Development

and Cooperation Act of 1975 added the renunciation of terrorism to

these conditions;

Whereas these conditions have been reaffirmed by statute five times

since 1984;

Whereas on December 14, 1988, Secretary of State George Shultz

determined that, by virtue of a statement by Yasser Arafat, the

Palestine Liberation Organization had fulfilled the conditions

required by law for discussions with United States officials to

commence;

Whereas Yasser Arafat had previously renounced terrorism in the

Cairo Declaration of November 7, 1985;

Whereas the Palestine Liberation Organization failed to live up to

its commitment to refrain from terrorism, as outlined in the

Declaration of November 7, 1985, by carrying out no less than 92

terrorist attacks resulting in the deaths of 4 Americans; and

 

Whereas Palestine Liberation Organization terrorist attacks on

Israel have in the past resulted in the deaths of innocent Americans

and, as such, continuing Palestine Liberation Organization terrorist

attacks in Israel present a threat against the lives of innocent

Americans visiting the Holy Land; Now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That in the event further talks are held with the

Palestine Liberation Organization—

(1) the top priority of the United States in any such talks

should be the prevention of terrorist and other violent activity by

the Palestine Liberation Organization or any of its factions; and

(2) during the next round of such talks the representative of

the United States should obtain from the representative of the

Palestine Liberation Organization a full accounting of the following

reported terrorist or other violent activities which occurred after

Yasser Arafat's commitment of December 14, 1988:

(A) On December 26, 1988, an attempted infiltration into Israel

by boat by four terrorists of the PLO-affiliated Popular Struggle

Front.

(B) On December 28, 1988, an attempted infiltration into Israel

by three terrorists of the PLO-affiliated Palestine Liberation Front

armed with Kalashnikov rifles, missiles, and anti-tank launchers.

© On January 24, 1989, an unprovoked attack on an Israeli

patrol in Southern Lebanon by PLO-affiliated Palestine Liberation

Front.

(D) On February 5, 1989, an attempted infiltration into Israel

by nine terrorists of the PLO-affiliated Palestine Liberation Front

and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine armed with

automatic rifles, hand granades, rocket-propelled grenades, and wire

cutters.

(E) On February 23, 1989, an attempted attack on targets in

Israel by terrorists of the PLO-affiliated Democratic Front for

Liberation of Palestine armed with AK-47 rifles, anti-tank rockets

and wire cutters.

(F) On February 27, 1989, a PLO-affiliated Popular Front for the

Liberation of Palestine ambush of a pro-Israeli Southern Lebanese

army vehicle.

(G) On March 2, 1989, an attempted infiltration into Israel by

four terrorists of the PLO-affiliated Democratic Front for the

Liberation of Palestine, armed with Kalashnikov rifles, light anti-

tank missiles, grenades, and wire cutters, headed for the civilian

town of Zarit.

(H) On March 13, 1989, an attempted infiltration into Israel by

three terrorists of PLO-aligned Palestine Liberation Front armed

with AK-47 automatic rifles, hand grenades, small missiles, and wire

cutters.

(I) On March 15, 1989, an attempted attack on Israel through

Gaza by two terrorists of the Islamic Jihad group under the orders

of Yasser Arafat, armed with Kalashnikov rifles, ammunition, and

grenades.

Sec. 2. In the event further talks are held with the Palestine

Liberation Organization, the Secretary of State should, within 10

days after the next round of such talks, report to the Senate on the

accounting provided by the representative of the Palestine

Liberation Organization of the incidents described in the first

section of this resolution.

Mr. HELMS. Today I offer a resolution which urges our State

Department to obtain from the PLO an accounting of a series of

violent acts which PLO-affiliated groups have reportedly undertaken

since Yasser Arafat renounced terrorism last December.

The resolution aims to reinforce the Bush administration policy of

pressuring the PLO to reduce its violent activity. At the same time,

the resolution focuses attention on what appears to be continuing

PLO terrorist activity.

The resolution is being introduced with 24 sponsors, including

Senators from both parties and all parts of the political spectrum.

Joining me on the resolution are Senators Gramm of Texas, Dole,

Wilson, Graham of Florida, Bond, Metzenbaum, Boschwitz, Packwood,

Nickles, Lautenberg, Heinz, Domenici, Kasten, McCain, Symms,

Grassley, D'Amato, Pressler, Mack, Hatch, Humphrey, Coats, and

Burns.

Mr. President, on December 14, 1988, the State Department determined

that, by virtue of a statement by Yasser Arafat, the PLO had

fulfilled the conditions required by law for discussions with U.S.

officials to commence.

At that time, many observers felt that our Government made a

tactical error in dealing with Yasser Arafat. I publicly questioned

the wisdom of trying to combat terrorism by negotiating with

terrorists. The State Department should have required that the

conditions in the law—that the PLO renounce terrorism, recognize

Israel, and accept UN Resolutions 242 and 338--be met not just in

words, but in practice as well.

There was doubt then, and doubt now, whether the PLO would and will

live by the commitments made on December 14 by Yasser Arafat. Yasser

Arafat is a terrorist and the PLO is a terrorist group—and we cannot

expect terrorists to keep their word.

Indeed, statements made since then by a number of key PLO leaders

are entirely inconsistent with the commitments made by Arafat in

December. Arafat himself flaunted his renunciation of terrorism by

threatening—in a January radio broadcast—the life of any Palestinian

leader who proposes an end to the violence in the territories.

What is even more troubling is that PLO terrorist and other violent

activity may actually be continuing. Since the Arafat commitment of

December 14, there have been no fewer than nine reported terrorist

or attempted terrorist acts involving PLO affiliated groups.

This resolution expresses the sense of the Senate that the top

priority of the United States in any future talks with the PLO

should be a prevention of terrorist and other violent activity by

the PLO or its factions.

It also lists nine reported terrorist or attempted terrorist or

violent acts involving PLO affiliated groups, urges the State

Department to obtain from the PLO an accounting of these incidents,

and asks the Secretary of State to report to the Senate on the

accounting provided by the PLO.

Mr. President, the longer the PLO continues its violent activities,

the longer it will take to bring about a real peace in the Middle

East. The Bush administration policy of making a reduction of

violence a priority in any talks with the PLO is a recognition of

this fact. The Senate should do its part by making certain that

continuing terrorist and other violent activity by the PLO does not

go unnoticed nor unanswered.

Mr. D'AMATO. Mr. President, I rise in support of this resolution

expressing the sense of the Senate regarding Palestinian Liberation

Organization terrorism.

The absolute precondition to any talks between our Government and

representatives of the PLO must be the cessation of all acts of

terrorism.

It is inconceivable to me that this Government could willingly and

openly negotiate with any organization that equates violence with

politics, that negotiates out of the barrel of a gun.

At the outset of this process, former Secretary Shultz determined

that the PLO had fulfilled the conditions necessary for talks to

begin. He also warned that this determination was conditional, and

subject to revision in view of continuing evidence of good faith. I

urge Secretary of State Baker to proceed with the utmost caution and

deliberation in dealing with Yasser Arafat or any of his

confederates.

This resolution seeks an accounting from Mr. Arafat regarding nine

specific terrorist incidents all since his commitment in December

1988 to end the cycle of violence in the Middle East.

Should he fail to provide it, or prove less than forthcoming, such

negotiations cannot continue.

The United States cannot permit itself to be seen as legitimizing or

overlooking terrorism, no matter how worthy the policy goal. Only by

divorcing himself completely from this inhuman lawlessness can Mr.

Arafat hope to further the interests of the PLO.

I look forward to the swift passage of this timely resolution, and

urge all of my colleagues to join in supporting it.

Mr. LAUTENBERG. Mr. President, I join with Senator Helms and my

other colleagues in submitting this resolution calling for an

accounting of the PLO's behavior since the United States began its

dialog with that group.

This resolution states that in the event further talks are held with

the PLO, the top priority of the United States should be a cessation

of terrorist and other violent activity by the PLO or any of its

factions. During the next round of such talks, if they are held, the

United States should obtain from the PLO a full accounting of

reported terrorist activities which have occurred since the dialog

began, and which appear to implicate the PLO or its constituent

groups. And it calls on the Secretary of State to report to the

Senate within 10 days of the next round of talks on the accounting

provided by the PLO on these incidents.

Mr. President, this resolution is important because recent events

have cast doubt on Arafat's desire and ability to live up to his

bold words of last December—his renunciation of terrorism, his

acceptance of key United Nations Security Council resolutions, and

his recognition of Israel's right to exist.

For example, Arafat's threat to pump 10 bullets into anyone who

thinks of stopping the intifada is clearly inconsistent with his

December renunciation of terrorism. Former Secretary of State George

Shultz acknowledged as much in a January 5, 1989, interview when he

said that Arafat's threat squared very badly

with the U.S. understanding of the PLO's renunciation of terrorism.

The various incursions of PLO constituent groups into Lebanon, and

Arafat's failure to date to denounce those terrorist actions, also

are inconsistent with his pledge.

There is also the specter of PLO involvement in the bombing of Pan

Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland on December 21. This bombing,

which killed 270 people, took place only 1 week after the United

States decided to open talks with the PLO based on its renunciation

of terrorism.

Last October, West German police arrested members of the Popular

Front for the Liberation of Palestine [PFLP] with radio cassette

players containing explosive devices that could be detonated at high

altitude. When Pan Am flight 103 crashed, the police established

that the explosives that caused the crash were in a radio cassette

player exactly like those found during the arrest of PFLP

terrorists. This finding raises a strong suspicion of the

involvement of this group in the planning of the crash.

Given the fact that a representative of the PFLP sits on the

Executive Committee of the Palestine National Council, the governing

body of the PLO, possible involvement of the PFLP in the Pan Am

crash raises further questions about the PLO's ability to fulfill

its commitment to renounce terrorism.

I believe that Arafat's December statements of moderation resulted

from firm American insistence since 1975 on those conditions as a

prerequisite for opening a dialog between the United States and the

PLO. The success of that policy demonstrates that clearly anounced

U.S. foreign policy goals, when adhered to, achieve results.

Mr. President, when the United States began its dialog with the PLO,

it was premised on the bedrock assumptions that Arafat would

renounced terrorism and recognize Israel's right to exist. If the

administration is pressing the PLO to make good on these

commitments, that is not clear to me. I do not see evidence that

Arafat is being held to his words or that those words are being

matched with deeds.

If the administration decides to continue the dialog, strong

pressure must be kept on the PLO to live up to Arafat's promises and

surely the dialog should be discontinued if those promises are not

or cannot be kept. Arafat must denounce all acts of terrorism, and

the leadership of Palestinian factions that continue to perpetrate

terrorism. Arafat should put his words into writing by changing or

revising the PLO's covenant, which is still committed to armed

struggle and the destruction of Israel.

The administration began this dialog with the specific understanding

that it was contingent on the PLO's remaining true to its words.

Congress seeks, through this resolution, to inform itself of whether

the PLO is doing so. I urge my colleagues to swiftly adopt this

resolution.

" Death of H. John Heinz III

After speaking at a news conference in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on

April 4, 1991, Heinz was headed to Philadelphia to conduct the first

in a series of investigative hearings to examine the telemarketing

of medical equipment to Medicare beneficiaries, " Bleeding Medicare

Dry: The Great Sales Scam. " When the twin-engine plane carrying him

and four other adults developed landing-gear trouble, a helicopter

was dispatched to examine the problem. Consequently, the

helicopter's blades accidentally hit the bottom of the plane,

sending both aircraft to the ground and killing everyone on board.

Two children, who were playing outside at noon recess at the Merion

Elementary School in Montgomery County, were also killed when the

wreckage fell on the school ground.

Memorial services were held in Pittsburgh at the Heinz Memorial

Chapel on the University of Pittsburgh's Oakland campus on April 10.

Following the service, Heinz was buried in the family mausoleum in

Homewood Cemetery. Another memorial service was held on April 12 at

the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. In a White House

statement, President Bush remarked, " The people of Pennsylvania have

lost a great leader, and the nation has lost a great senator... His

leadership and commitment will be greatly missed. "

meant to hit the people who represented the face of globalising

one on a train pulling out of Mahim station.

All the stations hit (Matunga, Mahim, Bandra, Khar, Jogeshwari,

western commuter line. These are among the city's affluent suburbs —

home to bankers, businessmen, entertainment moguls, actors and

other upper-middle-class professionals.

 

Mumbai Police Commissioner A.N. Roy said investigations were on to

zero in on the terrorist outfit responsible. Preliminary reports

suggest the involvement of the Lashkar-e-Tayebba. The police are

probing possible links between the blasts and the seizures of radio-

enabled detonators in Mumbai in March and a huge consignment of RDX

in Aurangabad in May. They had busted two suspected modules of the

Lashkar following the seizures.

 

The bombings drove Mumbai to the edge. As the western line ground to

a halt — something even the monsoons could not do this year — roads

jammed, mobile networks collapsed and panic-stricken commuters

walked home by the thousands in driving rain.

 

The blast sites were filled with gruesome scenes. Dazed and bloodied

survivors struggled to come to terms with what had happened. Bodies

Bush?

The following report appears on the website of the Department of

Justice.

Former President George Bush visited Kuwait between April 14 and

April 16, 1993, to commemorate the allied victory in the Persian

Gulf War. Accompanying Bush were his wife, two of his sons, former

Secretary of State James A. Baker III, former Chief of Staff John

Sununu, and former Treasury Secretary Nicholas Brady.

In late-April 1993, the United States learned that terrorists had

attempted to assassinate Bush during his visit to Kuwait. The

Kuwaiti authorities arrested 17 persons suspected in the plot to

kill Bush using explosives hidden in a Toyota Landcruiser. The

Kuwaitis recovered the Landcruiser, which contained between 80 and

90 kilograms of plastic explosives connected to a detonator ( the

Bush device or Bush explosive device ). The Kuwaitis also recovered

ten cube-shaped plastic explosive devices with detonators (the cube-

bombs ) from the Landcruiser. Some of the suspects reportedly

confessed that the Iraqi Intelligence Service (IIS ) was behind the

assassination attempt.

On April 29, 1993, CIA bomb technicians compared the Bush explosive

device to two known Iraqi explosive devices found in different

Middle-Eastern countries in 1990 and 1991 (the Middle-East

devices ) . The technicians reported that the remote control firing

mechanism in the Bush device was identical to those in the Middle-

East devices. Additionally, the technicians reported that blasting

caps from the Bush device appeared to be identical to those found in

one of the Middle-East devices. The technicians later concluded that

the circuit board from the Bush device also closely resembled

circuit boards from the Middle-East devices.

In early-May 1993, the FBI sent personnel to Kuwait to interview the

suspects and examine the physical evidence. FBI Special Agents,

along with representatives of the Secret Service and State

Department, interviewed 16 suspects, some more than once. Two of the

suspects, Wali Abd Al-Hadi Abd Al-Hasan Al-Ghazali ( Al-Ghazali )

and Rad Abd Al-Amir Abbud Al-Asadi ( Al-Asadi ), admitted during

the FBI interviews that they had participated in the plot at the

direction of the IIS.

Explosives examiner Jordan also traveled to Kuwait in May 1993 to

examine the Bush device. Jordan examined the main charge, which was

hidden in three panels in the Landcruiser and was capable of being

detonated by remote control, a timing device, or a push-pull suicide

switch. Jordan compared the Bush device to photographs of the Middle-

East devices, as well as other devices, and concluded that the same

person or persons manufactured the Bush device and one of the Middle-

East devices, and that a connection existed between persons

responsible for the Bush device and several other devices, including

the other Middle-East device. Jordan reported these conclusions in a

May 11, 1993 Laboratory report.

Jordan then returned to Washington, D.C., and delivered samples of

the explosives from the Bush device to Whitehurst. Whitehurst

analyzed the explosive from the main charge and concluded that the

substance was approximately 96% RDX, 3% polyvinyl-isobutyl ether

binder, and 1% hydrocarbon oil. As for samples from the cube-bombs,

Whitehurst concluded that the explosive was consistent with an

explosive containing RDX bound with a cross-linked phenoxy or epoxy

binder containing Sudan I dye. Whitehurst reported these findings in

his June 7, 1993, dictation.

Shortly thereafter, Jordan returned to the Middle-East to conduct

further examinations of the Bush device and the Middle-East devices.

Based on these examinations, Jordan reported significant

consistencies in the selection of individual components and

alterations to manufactured items in all of the devices. Jordan

concluded that the similarities represented signature

characteristics. He further reported that the same person or persons

of close association constructed the remote control fuzing systems

and electronic timing mechanisms used in all of these devices.

Jordan also reported that a second person or persons of close

association were responsible for adding wiring and components to the

Bush device and one of the Middle-East devices, enabling those

devices to be incorporated in vehicles. Jordan reported these

conclusions in his June 18, 1993, Laboratory report, in which he

also summarized parts of Whitehursts June 7, 1993, dictation.

On June 2, 1993, representatives of the FBI, the Central

Intelligence Agency (CIA), and others in the Department of Justice

(DOJ) discussed the results of their investigations with

representatives of the Clinton Administration. Three weeks later,

the DOJ and CIA reported their conclusions. The DOJ and CIA reported

that it was highly likely that the Iraqi Government originated the

plot and more than likely that Bush was the target. Additionally,

based on past Iraqi methods and other sources of intelligence, the

CIA independently reported that there was a strong case that Saddam

Hussein directed the plot against Bush.

On June 26, 1993, the United States launched a cruise missile attack

against a building housing the IIS in Baghdad in retaliation for the

assassination attempt on former President Bush. According to news

reports, the attack killed between six and eight persons and injured

approximately 12 others. On June 27, 1993, Madeleine Albright, U.S.

Ambassador to the United Nations, addressed an emergency session of

the Security Council and provided evidence to support the attack on

the IIS facility.

(CBS) A high-ranking al Qaeda detainee told investigators the

intended target of United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed into a

Pennsylvania field on Sept. 11, was the White House.

Government sources said Abu Zubaydah, now in U.S. custody, is

believed to be the source of the information. He is being

interrogated by U.S. officials at an undisclosed location.

Investigators have linked Zubaydah directly to hijackers on board

Flight 93.

United Flight 93 took off from Newark, N.J., and crashed in Somerset

County, Pa.. A recorder on the plane and calls made to people on the

ground indicate passengers fought for control with the hijackers

before it went down.

The San Francisco-bound jet had turned toward Washington and U.S.

Officials previously had assumed the White House was a likely

target, but said the Capitol and CIA headquarters in McLean, Va.,

near Washington were other possibilities.Abu Zubaydah is believed to

have played a key role in organizing the Sept. 11 attacks, officials

said. As al Qaedas top operational planner, he ran the Khalden camp

in Afghanistan, where U.S. investigators have learned many of the

Sept. 11 hijackers trained. This suggests Abu Zubaydah may have had

direct contact with the hijackers and chosen them for training.

He also had telephone contacts with at least one Arab student at

U.S. flight schools, according to a July 10, 2001, memo from a

Phoenix FBI agent.

The CIA, FBI and Pakistani authorities captured and wounded Abu

Zubaydah in a raid by in Faisalabad, Pakistan, in March. He is

believed to have masterminded the failed millennium bombing plots in

Los Angeles and Jordan, and has been linked to failed plots on the

U.S. embassies in Paris and Sarajevo.

Abu Zubaydah was also indirectly linked, through a web of

associations with other al Qaeda members in Europe, to lead Sept. 11

hijacker Mohammed Atta and his cell in Hamburg, Germany. Three

members of the Hamburg cell were suicide hijackers; three others are

still at large. Ziad Jarrah, believed to be the pilot-hijacker of

Flight 93, was a member of the Hamburg cell.

" Moussaoui Says He Was to Hijack 5th Plane

Al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui testified Monday that he and

would-be shoe bomber Richard Reid were supposed to hijack a fifth

airplane on Sept. 11, 2001, and fly it into the White House.

Moussaoui's testimony on his own behalf stunned the courtroom. His

account was in stark contrast to his previous statements in which he

said the White House attack was to come later if the United States

refused to release a radical Egyptian sheik imprisoned on earlier

terrorist convictions.

On Dec. 22, 2001, Reid was subdued by passengers when he attempted

to detonate a bomb in his shoe aboard American Airlines Flight 63

from Paris to Miami. There were 197 people on board. The plane was

diverted to Boston, where it landed safely.

Moussaoui told the court he knew the World Trade Center attack was

coming and that he lied to investigators when arrested in August

2001 because he wanted it to happen.

" You lied because you wanted to conceal that you were a member of al-

Qaida? " prosecutor Rob Spencer asked.

" That's correct, " Moussaoui said.

Spencer: " You lied so the plan could go forward? "

Moussaoui: " That's correct. "

The exchange was key to the government's case that the attacks might

have been averted if Moussaoui had been more cooperative following

his arrest.

Moussaoui told the court he knew the attacks were coming some time

after August 2001 and bought a radio so he could hear them unfold.

Specifically, he said he knew the World Trade Center was going to be

attacked, but asserted he was not part of that plot and didn't know

the details.

Nineteen men pulled off the Sept. 11 attacks on New York in

Washington in the worst act of terrorism ever on U.S. soil.

" I had knowledge that the Twin Towers would be hit, " Moussaoui

said. " I didn't know the details of this. "

Asked by his lawyer why he signed his guilty plea in April as " the

20th hijacker, " Moussaoui replied: " Because everybody used to refer

to me as the 20th hijacker and it was a bit of fun. "

Before Moussaoui took the stand, his lawyers made a last attempt to

stop him from testifying, but failed. Defense attorney Gerald Zerkin

argued that his client would not be a competent witness because he

has contempt for the court, only recognizes Islamic law and

therefore " the affirmation he undertakes would be meaningless. "

Moussaoui at first denied he was to have been a fifth hijack pilot

Sept. 11 but under cross examination spoke of the plan that would

have him attack the White House. He said Reid was the only person he

knew for sure would have been on that mission, but others were

discussed.

The 19 terrorists on Sept. 11 hijacked and crashed four airliners,

killing nearly 3,000 people in the World Trade Center, the Pentagon

and on the planes. The intended target of the plane that crashed

into a Pennsylvania field remains unknown.

Moussaoui said he talked with an al-Qaida official in 1999 about why

a 1993 bombing at the World Trade Center failed to bring the towers

down. He said " was asked in the same period for the first time if I

want to be a suicide pilot and I declined. "

Just before Moussaoui took the stand, the court heard testimony that

two months before the attacks that a CIA deputy chief waited in vain

for permission to tell the FBI about a " very high interest " al-Qaida

operative who became one of the hijackers.

The official, a senior figure in the CIA's Osama bin Laden unit,

said he sought authorization on July 13, 2001, to send information

to the FBI but got no response for 10 days, then asked again.

As it turned out, the information on Khalid al-Mihdhar did not reach

the FBI until late August. At the time, CIA officers needed

permission from a special unit before passing certain intelligence

on to the FBI.

The official was identified only as John. His written testimony was

read into the record.

" John's " testimony was part of the defense's case that federal

authorities missed multiple opportunities to catch hijackers and

perhaps thwart the 9/11 plot.

His testimony included an e-mail sent by FBI supervisor Michael

Maltbie discussing Moussaoui but playing down his terrorist

connections. Maltbie's e-mail said " there's no indication that

(Moussaoui) had plans for any nefarious activity. "

He sent that e-mail to the CIA even after receiving a lengthy memo

from the FBI agent who arrested Moussaoui and suspected him of being

a terrorist with plans to hijack aircraft.

Prosecutors argue that Moussaoui, a French citizen, thwarted a prime

opportunity to track down the 9/11 hijackers and possibly unravel

the plot when he was arrested in August 2001 on immigration

violations and lied to the FBI about his al-Qaida membership and

plans to hijack a plane.

Had Moussaoui confessed, the FBI could have pursued leads that would

have led them to most of the hijackers, government witnesses have

testified.

To win the death penalty, prosecutors must first prove that

Moussaoui's actions — specifically, his lies — were directly

responsible for at least one death on Sept. 11.

If they fail, Moussaoui would get life in prison.

that Israeli intelligence believes Iraq was a sponsor of the attacks

on the United States last week. Foreign Report, published by Janes

Information Group, said on its website on Thursday that officers in

Israeli military intelligence believed two of the worlds foremost

terrorist masterminds had led the attacks. The journal named them as

Imad Moughniyeh of Lebanon, a man it said was head of special

overseas

operations for Hizbollah, and Egyptian Ayman Al Zawahri, a senior

member of prime suspect Osama bin Ladens Al-Qaeda group. The

Iraqis,

who for several years paid smaller groups to do their dirty work,

were

quick to discover the advantages of Al-Qaeda, Foreign Report said.

We believe that the operational brains behind the New York attack

were Moughniyeh and Zawahri, who were probably financed and got some

logistical support from the Iraqi Intelligence Service (SSO), an

Israeli intelligence source told Foreign Report. Foreign Report

quoted the Israeli sources as saying that Iraqi intelligence officers

had been shuttling between Baghdad and Afghanistan, meeting Zawahri,

for the past two years. According to the sources, the Pakistanis

captured one of the Iraqi intelligence officers last October near the

border with Afghanistan. The Iraqis are also reported to have

established strong ties with Imad Moughniyeh, the report said. It

quoted unconfirmed reports in Beirut as saying that Moughniyeh had

undergone plastic surgery and was unrecognisable. The report quoted

one Israeli intelligence source as saying Israeli military

intelligence had warned Israels allies six weeks ago that an

unprecedented, massive terror attack was expected. Moughniyeh, a

member of Lebanons Shiite Muslim Hizbollah movement, was behind a

wave of anti-American attacks in Lebanon in the 1980s, including the

truck bombing of a barracks in Beirut in 1983 that killed 241 U.S.

Marines and sailors. He led a network of kidnappers who held dozens

of

American and other Western hostages in Lebanon for some seven years.

Zawahri was indicted in New York in 1999 in connection with the

bombing of the U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya on August 7,

of Palestinian terrorist suspects in Judea and Samaria on Tuesday as

a

manhunt continued for Tanzim terrorist Sirhan Sirhan, blamed for the

shooting attack in Kibbutz Metzer on Sunday night November 10th,

2002.

Security sources confirmed Wednesday that they suspect that Sirhan, a

resident of Tulkarm, carried out the attack and Palestinian reports

claimed that his uncle was among those arrested on Tuesday by

security

forces. The suspect is related to Sirhan B. Sirhan, the Jerusalemite

who assassinated US Senator Robert Kennedy in 1968. Kennedy was shot

dead in 1968 at Los Angeles Ambassador Hotel by Sirhan Sirhan, a

25-year-old Palestinian immigrant who said he felt betrayed by

Kennedys support for Israel in the Six-Day War of 1967. At the time,

Kennedy was a Democratic senator running for president. Israeli

security sources said they believe the gunman in the Kibbutz Metzer

attack is a cousin of the Kennedy assassin, and may have been named

after his infamous relative. The Kennedy assassin is serving a life

sentence in a California state prison. His lawyers have suggested

that

if he was released from prison he could return to the so

called palestinian

territories. Sirhan has been denied parole 10 times and prosecutors

say his return to Judea and Samaria could further enflame the

Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Meanwhile, the Tanzim Al-Aksa Brigades

on Tuesday vowed to continue attacks against Israeli civilians and

soldiers, after claiming Sundays attack at Metzer in which five

execution of two American diplomats in 1973, a former U.S.

intelligence officer says. James Walsh said he knew of a tape

recording in which Arafat calmly discussed an attack on the Saudi

Arabian Embassy in Khartoum, Sudan. In February 1973 gunmen had burst

into the embassy and seized American Ambassador Cleo Noel and his

charge daffaires, George Curtis Moore. The Black September terrorist

organization took responsibility for the assault and demanded the

release of Sirhan Sirhan, the imprisoned assassin of Robert F.

Kennedy, and other jailed Palestinians. Walsh, then a member of the

National Security Agency based in Cyprus, said his organization

intercepted a conversation between Arafat and Black September in

which

the PLO chairman ordered the killing of the Americans and a Belgian

diplomat. Walsh told the Israeli newspaper Haaretz that the

conversation was never disclosed by U.S. officials because it would

compromise American eavesdropping resources. Walsh said the NSA had

intercepted a series of phone calls between Arafat and the Black

September kidnappers. Officials in Jerusalem said the United States

had been informed of the conversation through another channel. They

said then-Prime Minister Golda Meir told then-President Richard Nixon

that Israel had also intercepted a conversation between Arafat and

kidnap leader Khalil al-Wazir, in which they discussed killing the

Americans.. Two weeks before he was murdered Doctor King had

endorsed

the Presidential Candidacy of Eugene McCarthy, Democrat of Minnesota

for the 1968 Democratic Presidential Nomination. Senator McCarthy,

(not to be confused with Republican Senator Joe McCarthy of Wisconsin

who was Eugene McCarthys opposite in more ways than one), campaigned

on a platform of opposition to the Vietnam War in 1968, a war that

McCarthy called: Illegal, Immoral, and unconstitutional. Two weeks

later Dr. King was murdered in Memphis. Had he lived he would have

gone on to campaign for McCarthy, who was 7 points ahead of Nixon in

the polls. With Dr. King by his side McCarthy would have gone on to

be

nominated by the Democratic Party in 1968 and elected President in

November 1968. Robert F. Kennedy would have ended his campaign and

joined with Gene McCarthy and Dr. King to end the war. Instead Dr.

Kings murder caused disunity in the Democratic Party. Bobby Kennedy

sought the Democratic Presidential nomination, only to be murdered

himself on June 4th, 1968 2 months to the day after Dr. King was

murdered. June 4th, 1968 was also the first anniversary of the Six-

Day

War. As the US Senator from New York State, a state that McCarthy

would have carried handily in the June 1968 Democratic Primary, Bobby

Kennedy would have to have obeyed the wishes of the people of his

state and dropped out of the Presidential race after that primary and

endorsed Gene McCarthy. But the primary came after Bobby Kennedy had

been killed. Beating a dead Bobby Kennedy was no victory. Not having

a

live Bobby Kennedy on hand to concede defeat and endorse Gene

McCarthy

meant that Hubert Humphrey, a supporter of the war in Vietnam, would

go on to become the Democratic Presidential nominee, only to lose to

Richard M. Nixon in November of 1968. Thus the war in Vietnam would

continue no matter who, Humphrey, or Nixon, won.

In his Texas days, the politically ambitious elder Clark was

cultivated as a useful connection by New Orleans Mafia kingpin Carlos

Marcello, and many feared Clarks new job would afford organized

crime

access to higher levels of power. AG Clark was repeatedly mired in

corruption scandals.*** In 1947, after he had four convicted Chicago

mob bosses sprung from prison before their terms were complete,

French Lawyer Says He Will Defend Saddam

Saturday, March 27, 2004 PARIS - A French lawyer, known for

defending terrorists and a Nazi leader, said Saturday he will defend

Saddam Hussein Jacques Verges told France-Inter radio he had

received a letter from Saddams family requesting him to defend the

former Iraqi leader in court.

The letter read: In my capacity as nephew of President Saddam

Hussein, I commission you officially by this letter to assure the

defense of my uncle, Verges said. He did not name the person who

sent the letter.

U.S. officials have said they will bring Saddam to trial for alleged

crimes against Iraqi people. But the location of any trial and its

format and date have not yet been decided.

Saddam is being held by U.S. forces at an undisclosed location.

Verges has defended Venezuelan terrorist Carlos the Jackal, whose

real name is Ilich Ramirez. He gained international notoriety during

the Cold War for staging a string of deadly bombings, assassinations

and hostage seizures.

The French lawyer also defended, Klaus Barbie, a Nazi Gestapo chief

Ex-Atty. General Would Aid Saddam Defense

WASHINGTON - Former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark said

Friday

that he would be willing to provide legal counsel to Saddam Hussein

(news - web sites) if the ousted Iraqi leader requested Clarks

assistance.

I would seek to help him protect his rights if he needed my help

and I felt that there was no one whos willing who could do it

better, Clark said in an interview with The Associated Press. I

would have no hesitation. Thats my work. Thats my chosen pursuit

?br> to protect rights. His rights need protecting.

Clark also lashed out at the Bush administration for the militarys

handling of the ex-Iraqi president since he was discovered last

weekend hiding underground near his hometown of Tikrit.

My two main concerns would be about the way hes being treated from

the standpoint of human rights, and my belief that the humiliation

that he has suffered causes hatred and will be harmful to the

interests of the United States, Clark said.

He specifically took issue with video images transmitted around the

world showing a bearded and weary-looking Saddam being examined by a

doctor just after his capture.

While Clark said he would defend Saddam at trial, he expressed

doubts that such a scenario would unfold.

Its unlikely if its not an international court that a foreigner

who didnt speak Arabic and wasnt trained in the Arabic legal

traditions would be permitted to appear in an Iraqi court, Clark

said.

U.S. officials have gone along with the Iraqi plan that Saddams

trial should be conducted by a special Iraqi tribunal that was set

up just days before he was taken into custody. But there are still

many questions that remain unresolved, including when a trial would

take place, and what kind of charges he would face.

The 76-year-old Clark, who was attorney general under President

Lyndon Johnson, has met with Saddam on several occasions in the past

decade. He most recently sat down with the former Iraqi leader in

February, in the days leading up to the U.S. invasion.

Clark described Saddam as dignified, reasonable and an interesting

person. He is a human being, Clark said.

Clark has assisted other despised leaders before.

JFK certainly benefited from Oswald's alleged " defection " to Moscow.

Oswald

allegedly provided the Soviets with the information on the U-2 spy

plane. With

that information Moscow was allegedly able to shoot down the U-2 spy

plane

over the then Soviet Union. That torpedoed the planned summit between

then US President Eisenhower and Soviet leader Nikita S.Krushchev

With the summit shot down along with the U-2 the way was paved for

JFK to defeat Nixon in 1960.

described as a " friend of " (JFK) and

(RFK) (Hilsman) " had been

director of the Bureau of Intelligence and Research " . " Hilsman was in

the little circle that had come to make up Harriman's Vietnam team. A

graduate of West Point and a Yale Ph.D. " As Buddhist protests in

SouthVietnam against the repressive Roman Catholic regime mounted it

both civilians and military at all levels (of the) GVN, we may be

able

to achieve some progress not only on immediate Buddhist problem (with

all implications this has for US and world opinion ) but also on

longer range objective of broadening regime and limiting Diem's

exercise of arbitrary power. As situation develops, we may deem it

useful to throw our influence toward reducing or eliminating the

power

of the Nhus (sic). " Hilsman later " drafted and Harriman approved a

reply to (US Ambassador to South Vietnam) Lodge's request for

guidance. In the most blunt language the administration had ever used

concerning the government of South Vietnam it all but sanctioned a

coup against the Diem regime. " It stated in part: " US government

cannot tolerate situation in which power lies in Nhu's hands-Diem

must

be given chance rid himself of Nhu and his coterie and replace him

with best military and political personalities available. If in spite

of all your efforts Diem remains obdurate and refuses, then we must

face the possibility that Diem himself cannot be preserved. " This

cable is described as: " THE MOST FAMOUS CABLE OF THE VIETNAM WAR " It

also stated that Ambassador Lodge and his team : " should urgently

examine all possible alternative leadership and make detailed plans

as

to how we might bring about Diem's replacement if this should become

necessary. You will understand that we cannot from Washington give

you

detailed instructions as to how this operation should proceed, but

you

will also know we will back you to the hilt on actions you take to

achieve our objectives. " Known as the Harriman-Hilsman memo, or

cable,

JFK himself ironically signed on to its premises in an interview with

Walter Cronkite, JFK said that the Vietnam War was : " their war " ,

which

could not be won unless the South Vietnamese government regained the

support it had lost as a result of its treatment of the Buddhists , a

goal that could be accomplished " with changes in policy and perhaps

with personnel. " . Tragically JFK failed to realize that as the Roman

Catholic President of the United States, he too was a liability to

the

successful prosecution of the Vietnam War as Buddhist resentment

against Catholics was not limited to resentment against the brutal

and

repressive Roman Catholic Diem-Nhu regime of South Vietnam but

extended also to the Roman Catholic President of the United States

who

had expanded the war from the 800 " advisors " in Vietnam during the

Eisenhower-Nixon era, to some 40,000 troops, including Green Berets

and Special Forces, under JFK. JFK had had close relations with the

Roman Catholic regime in South Vietnam and had had the support of

Keeping America tied down in Vietnam was important to the nazi-arab-

We would love to see Kosovo given back to the Serbian

people. A September 2006 controversy about an ABC " docu-drama "

centered around the alleged roles of Bill Clinton and others in his

administration vis a vis Osama bin Laden.

 

Bill Clinton turned the U.S. Air Force into

Air bin Laden, to support Osama bin Laden's terrorists on the

ground, who were allied with Al Queda type multinational terrorists

linked historically to Iraq in the Balkan War of the 1990s Clinton

waged against Serbian Christians, Jews,and other non-Moslems.

 

Saddam Hussein, like the Mafia boss of all bosses he fancied himself

to be, as he watched videos of his favorite movie, " The Godfather " ,

and its sequels, Saddam used " cut-outs " to separate himself from his

international terrorism, so that he could maintain " plausible

deniability " .

 

During the evil war against Serbia of the 1990s the

back-stabbing Saddam pretended to embrace the Serbian

cause but secretly engaged in anti-Serbian terrorism in the Balkans.

" during the night of July 18th -19th ,1998 a group of several hundred

heavily armed foreign mercenaries mostly " mujahideens, " Islamic " holy

warriors " ) frontally attacked from Albania the Yugoslav Army border

guards near the Djeravici mountain. The attack was repulsed by the

Serbian troops, and the foreign assailants suffered heavy casualties.

Among the dead were six mercenaries from Yemen, five from Saudi

Arabia, four from Macedonia. A short while later, Yugoslav

authorities arrested Nuri Salip Muhamed, a Lieutenant Colonel in the

Iraqi Army as he was trying to enter Yugoslavia illegally from

Bulgaria. This Iraqi

officer, who reportedly spoke perfect Serbian, was supposed to have

commanded the July 18th-19th, 1998 terrorist attack from Albania. But

lucky for him, he had not arrived there in time. "

 

Now Bill Clinton's wife, former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton,

the woman who kissed arafat's wife, (was it like kissing Hitler's

mistress Eva Braun we wonder?) wants to be President of the United

States.

 

Speaking of wannabes, the woman who wanted to become First Lady of

the United States on January 20th, 2005, Teresa Heinz Kerry comes to

mind.

Want to know something really scary? We do not know if there is any

truth to them at all, but allegations are beginning to resurface

concerning the alleged connections, which may have begun in 1969,

between Hillary Rodham,while she and her husband to be Bill Clinton

were Yale students, and something callled THE RAINBOW COALITION, not

the one associated with Jesse Jackson, but another one, which was

composed of 3 allied groups: THE BLACK PANTHERS, a Puerto Rican

group called THE YOUNG LORDS, and a bizarre Maoist " white " group

called THE PATRIOTS.

 

The so-called RAINBOW COALITION was allied with THE BLACK PANTHERS

and THE YOUNG LORDS in 1969 when Hillary and Bill Clinton were Yale

students.

 

In particular the allegations center around the alleged connections

between Hillary Rodham and Arthur Turco, and others. Turco was the

leader of THE PATRIOTS. THE PATRIOTS members wore

dungaree " uniforms " including dungaree pants and dungaree jackets

and held Maoist style " self-criticism sessions " . THE PATRIOTS were

allegedly heavily involved in drug use, which included " snorting "

horse tranquilizer drugs, among other things, and allegedly were

regular visitors to YALE. They also allegedly regularly read

responsively from Lin Piao's radical book. ( " Encyclopedia of World

Biography on Lin Piao Lin Piao (1907-1971) was a Chinese Communist

military commander and political leader. His distinguished military

career and loyalty to the principles of Mao Tse-tung were the basis

for his rise to second position in the Chinese Communist leadership.

He was involved in an unsuccessful coup d'etat in 1971. " )

Turco. " The article states that : " Caplan says he believes that the

Panthers' New York lawyer, Arthur Turco, was the ringleader in the

commission of this crime. " He was apparently in the house when the

torture and the murder took place and was part of the conspiracy to

kill and remove the body, "

 

Below is an example of a post we found describing some of the story.

 

" Back in 1969 a group of Black Panthers decided that a fellow black

named Alex Rackley needed to die. Rackley was a fellow Panther

suspected of disloyalty. Rackley was first tied to a chair. Once

safely immobilized his'friends'tortured him for hours by, among

other things, pouring boiling water on him. When they got tired of

torturing Rackley, Black Panther member Warren Kimbo took Mr.

Rackley outside and put a bullet in his head. Rackley's body was

later found floating in a river about 25 miles north of New Haven,

Conn.

 

Perhaps at this point you're curious as to what happened to these

Black Panthers. In 1977, that's only eight years later, only one of

the killers was still in jail. The shooter, Warren Kimbro, managed

to get a scholarship to Harvard. He later became an assistant dean

at Eastern Connecticut State College. Isn't that something? As

a `60s radical you can pump a bullet into someone's head,and a few

years later, in the same state, you can become an assistant college

dean! Only in America!

 

Erica Huggins was the lady who served the Panthers by boiling the

water for Mr. Rackley's torture. Some years later Ms. Huggins was

elected to a California School Board. How in the world do you think

these killers got off so easy? Maybe it was in some part due to the

efforts of two people who came to the defense of the Panthers. These

two people actually went so far as to shut down Yale University with

demonstrations in defense of the accused Black Panthers during their

trial. One of these people was none other than Bill Lan Lee. Mr.

Lee, or Mr. Lan Lee, as the case may be, isn't a college dean. He

isn't a member of a California School Board. He is now head of the

U.S. Justice Department's Civil Rights Division.

 

O.K., so who was the other Panther defender?

 

Is this other notable Panther defender now a school board member? Is

this other Panther apologist now an assistant college dean? No,

Neither! The other Panther defender was, like Lee, a radical law

student at Yale University at the time. She is now known as

The " smartest woman in the world. " She is none other than...Hillary

Rodham Clinton. "

 

We checked Hillary's official White House bio and found that:
