Guest guest
Dear group: I picked this up out of another egroup that I am in, and I thanked the person that wrote it. It sure appears " we won a big battle " in regard to the following: PROBIOTIC bacteria given to autistic children improved their concentration and behaviour so much that medical trials collapsed because parents refused to accept placebos, a scientist revealed yesterday. http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/uk.cfm?id=1308572006 This is probably a VERY significant, if not landmark, event for alternative medicine. Guest guest
Although a scientist just figured it out, we've known for quite some time that dysbiosis (lack of probiotics) produces enough toxin load to aggravate autism. Moms with autistic kids have been struggling with their diets for years because they know it affects behaviour. Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn´s Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Yeast Infections, Urinary Tract Infections (UTI), Pancreatitis, Vaginitis, Ear Infections, Diarrhea, Constipation, Lupus, Breast Cancer, Cirrhosis of the Liver, Acne, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), and Psoriasis have also been linked to dysbiosis. But beware of a probiotics push from manufacturers. Probiotics capsules may have to be taken at a rate of up to about 200 capsules daily to replace just half of the probiotic count that might be low in the bowel because of a lack of a couple of teaspoons of dietary inulin. Unlike inulin, the probiotic capsules cure nothing and only provide temporary relief because they don't change the feeding pattern of oganisms in the bowel. A week of reading on it appears here: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/inulin_prebiotic_probiotic.html Duncan Crow
