dear friends... forgive me for posting something for sale.

This is from a friend of mine. She actually visited me here in cda a few years ago and went on some rides with us with our friend Gil. I have known her for about 6 years.

she is a heck of a nice person and is struggling to survive. She has been fighting cancer for at least 5 years. First it was from her neurofibromytosis tumors ( the same thing that the elephant man had) now she has ovarian cancer.

She now lives in Jacksonville Florida.

I am passing this on in case anyone would consider purchasing her book.

Dear Friend,

I am writing to you today to thank you for being my friend. Some of you know me really well, some of you don't. I am writing this letter to you today to request a very special favor.

Those of you that know me as a friend or an acquaintance know where my heart is. I have been struggling for several years just to stay alive. It is an on going battle. A day-to-day battle that I fight every day of my life. In the last week alone I have been in the Memorial Hospital emergency room 4 times. I was finally admitted Friday night and discharged Monday night to be taken back to Memorial Hospital emergency room on Tuesday afternoon for about six hours until they got my blood sugar under control.

I'm not even going to try and list all my medical problems, but I will list a few. Active Ovarian Cancer...Neurofibromatosis...Diabetes...Active Chromes Disease, that's what I was in the hospital for, I have 14 major disabilities. Some of them being life threatening.

I'm not asking for your pity, that's the last thing I want. YOUR PRAYER'S I'll GLADLY ACCEPT. But today I'm writing to ask you permission to use the names on your e-mail list to mail this letter. You see, I've written a beautiful inspirational book called THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND.

These six words have the power to warm our hearts and brighten our days. On these pages you'll read quotations that celebrate the joys, and the rewards of friendship. You'll consider thought provoking ideas about laughter, loyalty, sharing and trust.

I have been writing and self-publishing small books for years. It's my creative outlet, my gift to the Universe. The book will cost $10.00 postage paid. The book is going to be 36 to 40 pages long. I keep adding. I won't make a lot of money on it because of printing cost, but I will make a little and I can spread the word about how important friendship is in our daily lives.
