NewsTarget Insider Alert (www.NewsTarget.com)HEALTH WARNINGS / CRITICISM------------------------------

Today we bring you two feature articles authored by guest writers.The first, authored by natural health pioneer Jon Barron, explains whythe American Medical Association's new warnings about salt are onlyhalf right.

Sure, consuming excess processed salt is terrible for your health,but the AMA makes no distinction between processed salt and naturalsea salt (which is full of trace minerals not found in processed salt).

It's like the difference between whole wheat and processed, refined,bleached white flour. Everybody knows the whole grain is healthier,just like sea salt is healthier than refined salt.

The TRUTH about salt is that sodium is a potent potasium depletor

whether it's in the sea salt, Himalayan salt or sodium chloride

in table salt, a fact that is not mentioned in the article.

The article stresses trace elements that are present in sea salt;

you can get those trace elements without consuming excess sodium.

Potassium depletion is hugely disease-causing; I recommend to my

clients to take at least 5 grams of potassium salts for every

gram of sea salt they consume, not even to rebalance the potasium

but just to avoid its depletion. I stopped using sea salt years

ago, and I salt my food when I need to with " no-salt " potassium.

My trace minerals come from low-sodium sea sources.

That IS the brand or trademark -- " No-Salt " , Bea. Sorry, I should

have typed it with capitals ;)
