Guest guest
Dan, Animal probiotics include large amounts of enterococcus and or e. coli. A fluorish of either one causes diarrhea, so if you get sick, that's why. The word enteritis comes from the organism enterococcus. You get what you pay for; regardless, for all the good that even human probiotics do they SHOULD be cheap. They are known to work only as long as one keeps taking them because they are simply a starter culture that is populating the fecal matter. To invoke bowel lining competition and establish permanent colonies, they MUST be fed. This part of the therapy goes unmentioned by practically all probiotic manufacturers, so most people who read advertising rather than data remain ignorant of the fact. Truth is that you already HAVE a probiotic starter culture in your bowel, so FEED IT! Inulin is the correct food. There's about a week of reading on this subject on my website; one extensive review article by researcher Bryan Tungland has been on my site for about five years but I note that a couple of other sites have recently appropriated this material for their own use. Here it is: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/inulin_review.html Duncan > Posted by: " Dan " granadahills2002 granadahills2002 > Sat Jul 22, 2006 3:14 pm (PDT) > > http://www.probios.com/images/pbmicrocalfpacl.jpg > Cheap probiotics at your local pet store from " pet smart " > 5 to 20 pounds buckets for about $20 to $30 bucks !!!! > Also buckets of Garlic Powder , WARNING be careful not to take to much > garlic as it is bad for you in big doses and can make you very sick > (short term use only)!!!
