Resveratrol's ability to kill Candida albicans, the yeast that causes monilial infections in humans was confirmed under electron microscopy. These results suggest that Resveratrol could be employed as a therapeutic agent to treat fungal infections in humans. The study is published in the journal Archives of Pharmaceutical Research.
