Guest guest
TACOMA, Wash. - A Pierce County judge says a nine-month-old boy with a serious kidney problem should have surgery over the objections of the boy's mother. The baby, Riley Rogers, is in state custody. The mother, Tina Carlsen, is jailed for investigation of kidnapping, after taking the baby last week from Children's Hospital in Seattle. She was caught with the baby Saturday. She wanted to try naturopathic treatments. The father, Todd Rogers, has agreed to the surgery, but his lawyer said in court yesterday that Rogers wanted doctors to tell him more about the risk of dialysis. The judge told Todd Rogers he could have only four hours of supervised visits a week with his son. Rogers is worried his son would be trying to recover from surgery in a room full of strangers. http://www.katu.com/news/story.asp?ID=87197 love*light, GaiaHemp aka Hempress "I pledge of allegiance to our Earth (Gaia) and all the life which s'he supports, one planet in our care, irreplaceable with sustenance and respect for all"
