The Mind is the Fertile Ground Upon which Good Health Grows The mind works upon the body in many ways, including through the emotions, actual biological processes, and through the spirit realm. In this discussion, there is something for everyone. The process I am going to describe works on many levels, even if you don't believe that it works (although belief certainly makes it work better and more quickly). For instance, if you are not interested in bringing spirituality into the process because you don't believe in it, you can work on your health from the emotional, intellectual, and biological standpoints, and it will have the same effects. And even if you don't believe in or practice

spirituality, believe it or not, it will work in you spiritually even if you don't believe in that aspect of it. So, take this process for what it is worth to you, and use it. Believe in whatever part you can believe in, but use it at all costs. Our emotions are a result of our thoughts, and we know that our emotional state effects how our body functions. For instance, stressful situations which make us afraid cause adrenaline to be dumped into our blood stream. This causes an increase in heart rate, among other things. Being in a constantly stressful state and being exposed to that much adrenaline all the time has been shown through medical studies to increase the risk of heart problems. By changing our emotions, we can change the biological processes going on in our bodies which cause disease. Our bodies also respond to purely intellectual thoughts. It has been proven that through thoughts alone a person can lower their blood pressure and control pain. The technique of biofeedback has helped clarify this for us, but there are also medical studies that have looked at this. Our thoughts and emotions feed directly into our spirits. In the spirit realm, anything is possible. In the spirit realm, one is able to bend time and space, and change things. Thoughts are not simply envisioning something imaginary. When you envision something over and over, the energy which you give to that visualization actually works to change the fabric of the universe so that the thing you are visualize becomes reality.
