She teaches you how to let go of perfectionism, how to create healthy habits so that your home virtually cleans itself, and mostly she teaches you to be kind to youself and your babies while letting go of any negative thinking. It works well for people with conditions like fibromyalgia, and obsessive compulsive disorders. Its kind of a housecleaning and motivational thing, but its so much more than that. Guest guest
I guess I was never compulsive about it (?) but like to have everything tidy and clean. Since my son was born, my house is not exactly as tidy and clean anymore. It took me many years to be okay with that. LOTS of self discipline was needed to not say anything, to allow my son his toys to play with in the room, to let him have his space in the house also. When my son has to amuse himself (if I'm busy with something else) then by the time I finish my chores, the living room is FULL of his toys, strewn everywhere, and I mean everywhere!!! We then have a tidy up together which he's quite happy to do. When we play together, we take one toy at a time, and tidy that up before going on to the next one. Sometimes you can't even walk anywhere without stepping on a toy! I just kept telling myself that it was his house too, and he should be allowed to play in it. And everytime I felt bad about the mess, I just forced myself to keep quiet about it and just concentrate on the fun he was having with his toys, and enjoy his fun too! Eventually it stopped being painful to have this mess, and I could relax in it! love Lisa - peela herbal remedies Saturday, April 02, 2005 3:00 AM Herbal Remedies - Re: Herbal Remedies Hi Deana,>Anyway my question today is there a natural way to help with obsessive >compulsive dissorder I also deal with Post Tramatic Stress disorder and >Fibromyalgia. Guest guest
It is a healthy attitude you are taking with your boy as I was not like that as my mother did absolutely everything for me and is never picked up a thing or cleaned anything,I was served breakfast in bed until I was 20 something,i am talking about a cooked breakfast and freshly squeezed juice and toast. as well as having dinner on a tray served in front of the TV till the same sort of age. When I moved out of home I didn't miss it a bit.until I married and then I realized the association thing was imbedded were I believed if someone was there then they would take care of everything.as a bachelor I was extremely neat and tidy ,nothing ever out of place as I new no-one was there to do it for me so I just did it myself without thinking twice about it.even had the washing up done before I even ate a meal. but things changed when I met my wife.Luckily for her I can tell you now I am a little better and I do a bit around the interior of the house.but then again that is women's work. I haven't asked her to build a successful company. Tom MSP what does this stand for.
