Guest guest
There is a piece of equipment called Resperate that is essentially a biofeedback device. You can Google it. It teaches you a particular method of breathing that lowers your blood pressure, and the effect is supposedly cumulative. That cannot be what the article is talking about, though, because you use it for half an hour at a time, a couple of times a day. Another thing I have read is that you buy one of the hand strengthener/hand gripper devices used by athletes. You squeeze one at half your strength for sixty seconds, release sixty seconds, squeeze sixty seconds....you should be able to get specific details with Google on this too. In tests, that lowered blood pressure. Another method that was described years ago in Prevention magazine, I believe, involved systematically contracting your muscles, one by one, clenching them til every muscle in the body was contracted. Starting with the toes. Then you release totally......that is supposed to lower bp. - Janelle Berry Saturday, May 20, 2006 9:53 PM Re: Drop BP in 3 minutes? I SURE WOULD LIKE FIND OUT MYSELF. NEW YORK, NY -- Not too long ago, a rather remarkable study was completed at a New York hospital. The researchers were testing a nondrug therapy for high blood pressure. They gathered the test subjects, prepared the experiment, and then began the therapy.Three minutes later, they measured the systolic blood pressure of the test subjects -- and they were completely normal. That's right. Completely and utterly normal. What's more, you can use this therapy yourself -- in the comfort of your own home.
