Guest guest
Pauline Hanson down here - who was so "put down" that even overseas she was despised, advocated a tax systems of 2% of income - across the board - for everyone - which would have made us the richest nation in the world - amazing eh? I wouldn't mind paying only 2% - but here one can claim $15,000 p.a. tax free if one works in the health industry in a not-for-profit organization - or two or three or however many you can find - which is a bonus - I still resent paying $1.40 per Litre for petrol knowing that 35 cents in each litre plus goods and services tax on the import tax - is a bit much. Guest guest
I heard a tax attorney online talking about how under the constitution, we're not even legally obligated to pay income tax. Ok, so if that's true, why are we still paying taxes? Guest guest
For you its a matter of rendering unto Bush what is Bush's and unto God what is God's I suppose, and most of us would prefer tax to jail - even if it isn't legal? Guest guest
Remember there was once a burning “Bush.” THAT burning “Bush” had the presence of “God”, while, I reckon this one does not. It still might burn though. But this time the “Bush” will be consumed. Lol. Like to play with the words a little. Forgive me. Guest guest
Well, if Bush knew what to do with it, I wouldn't be so unhappy to give it! lol I mean HOW much debt are we in now? I heard a figure of something like, he's done more damage in the time he's been in office than the 41 presidents before him. (and before anyone corrects me, I know he's the 43rd president, I'm not counting the one that served twice) lol I tithe my 10% to my church each week... not because I have to, because I want to. And I'm more than happy to give! ) Tonja On Behalf Of Jane MacRossTuesday, April 25, 2006 8:36 AM Subject: Re: Paying tax For you its a matter of rendering unto Bush what is Bush's and unto God what is God's I suppose, and most of us would prefer tax to jail - even if it isn't legal?
