Guest guest Posted March 31, 2004 Report Share Posted March 31, 2004 My SIL has had diabetes since she was 18 months old (she's now 27) and after she weans her baby she's going to try to get her insulin dependent organs working on their own. She said her doctor told her that by now her (can't think of which organ...doesn't work in diabetics) wouldn't even be there anymore, it would haver broken down and deteriorated by now. Is that possible? I thought I'd read somewhere you can regenerate any organ in the body.
