Castor oil packs are wonderful for relieving that type of pain , you do not need toadd anything to the oil just get a peice of flannel, Wool preferrably,or cotton muslin or felt 2nd choice. USe some type of pyrex or stainless steel lasagnae pan and fold the fabric in it, the fabric should be large enough to cover the area concerned. After the fabric is folded in the pan pour the over the cloth until it is almost saturated, this is then placed in an oven to warm do not let get it too hot or you will burn yourself. do this at bedtime preferrably or when you can rest for at lest 1/2 hr to 45 min. Place the warm pack on the area that hurts, and cover with a waarm toewl and /or a heating pad to keep the whole thing warm.

My husband has used this for pain in his liver and it he felt relief after each application. When your are done do not wash the cloth, place it in a plastic bag ,until you ae reasdy to reuse, Do not let anyone else use your pack.

Hope this helps

Granny Lee... I agree with the above except I have never pre heated the castor oil pack in the oven. I just place on the area then place saran wrap over the pack to protect your heating pad and keep the heat in then I use a moist heating pad over it just to keep it warm. I would also extend the time for 1 hour per day, per area.

There is also a big talk in natural therapy circles as to if you should reuse your pack or start new each time. My thing is that the pack has to have toxins building up in it so I would not use it more than 1 week, and if you can afford the castor oil, which is fairly inexpensive, I would use a new pack each time. I would not want the toxins hanging out in my pack just to be reabsorbed back into my system. Others disagree with me.

God Bless & Thanks Rabiah for your directions!!

thank you so much for the responce. what are the chances of this action healing the problem or is it just more or less to give relief? i am doing all the things that have been recommended like taking the TT, TN, PP, lemon egg or TT/egg, raw organic egg daily, even lately the fermented cabbage juice, the fruit and vegetables, no red meat, milk, sugar, white breads, and so on and so on.. and am a lot better, but being a very optimestic person, am looking forward to a CURE!!! : ) LOL!

love.. granny lee

Castor oil does heal it just takes regular therapy and time... Depending on the problem this can be a few days to 2-3 months or more but you will see positive changes as you go along Granny Lee

..Castor Oil Packs have been employed for health benefits since antiquity. Reportedly, they were used in ancient India, China, Egypt, Africa, Greece, Rome and in the Americas. More modern medical literature indicates their use as a treatment for gastrointestinal problems, lacerations, skin disorders such as psoriasis, as an evacuant.Common usage

has been for improving elimination capacities, stimulating the liver and gall bladder, healing lesions and adhesions, relief of pain, reduction of inflammation, increasing lymphatic circulation and drawing acids and poisons out of bodily tissues. Generally speaking, you may wish to employ them to assist your body in its healing efforts in any of these areas.

For the strongest effect, use a hot oil pack. Physical effects of the castor oil pack include stimulating the liver, increasing eliminations, relieving pain, increasing lymphatic circulation, improving gastrointestinal function, increasing relaxation and reducing inflammation.

Necessary Articles* Castor Oil (100% pure, cold-pressed)* Wool Flannel (cotton flannel should not be used)* Heating PadProcedure* Fold the wool flannel so that it is 3 or 4 layers thick* Saturate the wool flannel with the castor oil* Place the saturated wool flannel in a baking dish and heat slowly in the oven so that the pad becomes hot, but not too hot to place over your skin. (put your oven on low heat and watch your pad carefully and frequently, so as not to burn it)* Rub some oil into the skin on your abdomen* Lay the warm - not too hot - wool flannel over your abdomen* Cover with saran wrap or plastic* Cover with a heating pad for 1 hour (it is important to keep the area as hot as possible. This is why a heating pad is recommended instead of a hot

water bottle. A hot water water bottle cools too quickly and does not maintain a consistent, very hot temp.)* When finished, remove the flannel and wash your skin* Store the flannel in your baking dish covered with saran wrap or in a zip lock bag.(it does not have to be refrigerated. Castor oil is very stable and does not go rancid like other oils do.)* If the flannel becomes discolored (other than the normal color of the oil on it), it will probably be due to the drawing of toxins out of the body. When this occurs, wash or discard the flannel.

The flannel can be left on for longer periods if desired. A typical use cycle would be 3 consecutive days a week for as long as is needed. It can also be done more often if desired.

Here is a link to a good informational site also. Should clear up alot of questions.
