Guest guest
just wanted to agree on how great doulas are cuz I'm one too:p.. I certainly wish id had one when i had my daughter, it wouldnt have been such a disaster, then again I would've never become a Doula had i not had that experience, everything certainly happens for a reason. Not sure who it was looking for suggestions on what to add in a lotion for their friend to keep stretch marks away, there isnt much because sometimes you're just genetically prone to get them. Just try to do some things to help keep your skin smooth so that when the skin stretches it doesnt have to overwork itself..only thing i suggest to clients IS, make sure you drink a LOT of water..at least close to a gallon a day..avoid caffeines, anything that might dehydrate you, apply olive oil to your skin, belly, breasts, thighs, amongst other places:) i also suggest the JASON hemp plus lotion for all over skin smoothing, been using it for the body massages i do on my pregnant clients, and i use it myself.. BUT, ive read that yarrow and lavender are known to help, might add those to a lotion but like i said, if you're prone to get them, you probably will...good thing is they get lighter after a while:) considering i gained 81 lbs during my pregnancy im VERY glad they DO get lighter and that they were only on my lower belly all in all not a bad trade for my 9 1/2lb cutiepie-Loren
