Guest guest
You buy things as you can... and if you're buying fruits and veggies you're already helping vs buying "Junk" stuff... In the summer when you have farmers markets etc.. buy and can or freeze... watch for sales... Same with flour... and make you're own bread. As for herbs... I add here and there as I can... watch herbalcom and a few for specials also... before you know it you have a "supply" going.... and then you only have to buy an item here or there.... With fruits... sometimes if there is a sale... I buy ..then make my smoothies and freeze them... I can get them out the nite before and then have them the next day. It's like dehydrators, juicers, etc... I've been adding for about 4-5 years... I now have my dehydrator, juicer, grinder, blender, bread machine, .. etc... Also, hint for things for birthdays, xmas... (parents are good for this....lol)... or money for birthday... to buy herbs..or whatever.. It is hard when only one person is providing for the whole family. I still don't by everything I want organic, but I started out slowly. I put my kids first and got them onto a healthy start, then I start on myself. Gradually getting my husband on the same level as I am. That's what I'm doing now. A month ago, I nearly spent all of my grocery money on organic fruits and veggies and udo's oil thinking of the kids and us. At the end I was so, so depress, because I needed other things at the market and not just fruits and veggies. Now, I have to be wise and think of my kids first. Finance Tax Center - File online.
