Guest guest Posted March 26, 2004 Report Share Posted March 26, 2004 A little info on chickens and eggs my family has raised chickens for over 100 years and chickens eggs that have not been washed have a protective powder coating on them that prevents germs from getting through its when they wash this protective coating off that germs can get in the eggs. So find a good organic farmer and ask them not to wash the eggs. I never sell washed eggs any that are dirty I will clean and boil and eat myself.
