My daughter has 5 month old child and we started to give him carrot.

and we found this article. Should we stop and wait ti 8 monts?

Foods high in nitrates: Foods that are high in nitrates can cause anemia and should not be included in your child's diet until the age of 8 months. High nitrates foods can be either vegetables or meats. Here is a list:

Vegetables: beets, carrots, green beans, spinach, and collard greens;
