just made some Chaparral salve (cream) for ivan's pre-cancer skin problems having read numerous articles that it was good for that pupose. i've read, too, that it is beneficial to those who have RA, but needs to be used with other herbs as it is pretty potent. i found a formula on line but it has so many ingredients that it would take me 2 years to get all of them, and wonder if any of you have a less "sophisticated" formula that i can afford??? appreciate any help.

Okay Granny,

For external:

Chapparal 1 ounce

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 ounce beeswax

Place the ingredients in the oven for 1 hour at 180 degrees. Strain

through a wire sieve and stir until solidified (well maybe

semi-solidified) and then place into a jar or jars.

Internal:

2 tablespoons Chaparral

4 teaspoons Elder Flowers

2 teaspoons Peppermint

Place the chapparal into 1 3/4 pints of distilled water (28 ounces) in a

1 quart mason jar, cap and place in oven for 5-6 hours at 180-200

degrees. Then strain and clean the bottle. Then add the Elder flowers

and peppermint and cover with the chapparal tea and seal. Allow to stand

all day shaking the jar occasionally. Then strain through muslin and

pour tea back through the strainer over the herbs several times. Sweeten

with honey, bottle and keep in a cool place. Take 1 teacupful 3 times daily.

HTH,

Don Quai

You using Panther Piss or honey in ACV 3 times per day? Are you using a

cayenne salve or DTRO on those sore muscles and joints?
