I will be interested in any responses you get on this one. Several years ago we were exposed to some very toxic chemicals and have scarring on the lungs. Everything we have found out since is that, no, there is nothing that can be done about scar tissue on the lungs. Yep it sure causes pain! We'd probably never know if one of us were having a heart attack or not because of the lung pain.

I'm hoping he'll learn from ME and not his dad. He feeds him marshmallow maties cereal and argues "it says on the box it has 11 essential vitamins and minerals" ~sigh~

I still have a hard time getting him to eat raw veggies. Sometimes he will if I let him dip them in dressing. He mostly just drinks them unknowingly when I mix carrots with his apple juice or orange juice. He'll also eat them out of the slow cooker or with cheese on top. I can smuggle tiny pieces of fresh garlic in with his hotdish and he doesnt notice.

BUT this will be my first garden and I bet he'll go hog wild when he tastes FRESH veggies. ~drools on self~

Some people have lungs of iron, I swear. I have friends that smoke 2 packs a day and they're in better health than I am. I've had lung problems since I was little and had pneumonia (and yes, like an idiot I smoked from 14 til the day I found out I was pregnant). I used to have a pretty thick skull but I think its softening up a bit.

: D

Anyone on here ever had problems with lung PAIN? For a while I thought I was having mild heart attacks since the pain is usually on the left side and sometimes pretty severe but some one suggested it might be scar tissue in my lungs. Lately it seems to hurt worse and hurts when I try to exercise or breathe deeply.

Can anything be done about scar tissue?

My great-grandmother. The one who passed at 98 smoked until the end. I have an acquaintance who has lung cancer and she never smoked a day in her life. My mother smokes about 3 packs a day, but all four off spring are the ones with asthma. She did smoke when she was pregnant so that might be it.I don't know if you were here when I talked about how my father would not let us have sugar or

junk. However, what you are doing for your baby will last a lifetime. I think the juices, cod liver oil and daily swimming my father insisted upon is the only reason I've survived the onslaught of really bad medical care. Case in point, one of my cousins grew up with junk food, almost no exercise, etc. and she went through many of the same things I went through. She passed away at 29 years old. Of course, I'm not saying this is scientific or anything, but even my dentist gets mad because I still have never had a cavity and always have great check-ups.Keep setting a great example for the baby and it will stick. I loved the way you described the little dance waiting to see what you're going to pour from the juicer. :-)Keep shining!mjdFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. There is alot of info in the message archives on it... do a search.. also here is the article.

DMSODMSO is Dimethylsulfoxide and is processed from pine trees. Commercial grade is used as a solvent and works wonderfully that way. The pharmaceutical grade has been used very successfully with Down Syndrome children, Cancer patients, glaucoma, cataracts, and just about any other ill we humans have mocked up. It is a catalyst second to none as it has the ability to permeate any cell wall existing, including bone and external eye tissue. You can put a drop on your big toe and taste it in your mouth in anywhere from 8 to 12 seconds. Amazing stuff. One of its greatest characteristics is the ability to take herbal biochemicals with it when it passes through these cell walls. This gets the 'goodies' where they are needed fast. It also happens to be a free radical fighter without peer and bonds to free radical hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon atoms and neutralizes them instantly.

Most exciting to me is that it also happens to help realign DNA back to the original blueprint. The above are the main reasons it is in my anti-plague formulation. There are over 75 different sulfur compounds in Garlic which is a main ingredient in the Total Tonic Formula. Garlic is "Nature's antibiotic" and used with the DMSO will get in there and knock off bacteria, viruses, and fungi at a tremendous rate. You should be able to get the USP Pharmaceutical Grade at your local drug store or possibly at your local Heathfood store. If you can't, give me a call or e-mail me privately. A lot of "healthfood stores" carry a very inferior brand in plastic. Do not buy this type. DMSO will eventually dissolve plastic over a long period of time. The USP Pharmaceutical grade is stored in brown glass with either a teflon or wax top. This is the variety that is used by the Sierra Clinic to

inject into Down Syndrome children to correct that condition.

Echinacea Plus Formula Also, mullein.

Here are some other suggestions. The DMSO - make sure you get PHARMACUTICAL GRADE (IN DARK BROWN GLASS BOTTLES)

mullein - reduces mucus formation, stimulates the coughing up of mucus, good for lung congestion

bayberry - cleansing, builds the blood, strong germicidal properties which destroy bacteria, fights bron chi-pulmonary diseases, an astringent, shrinks mucus membranes, helps to aid digestion

horehound - helpful in treating problems with wheezing, bronchitis, and bronchial asthma, expectorant

plantain - builds the immune system, infection fighter, reduces phlegm, anti-inflammatory, expectorant

nettle - a decongestant that will help lung and respiratory problems, including asthma. it helps to fight infection in the body and is a blood cleanser. it is anti-allergenic, so is helpful in the treatment of hay fever and other allergies.

coltsfoot - demulcent, expectorant, relieves asthma, a remedy to relieve coughing and wheezing

cayenne - expectorant, stimulates the blood stream, enabling it to carry toxins out of the body faster, also increases the flow of nutrients to the affected areas, also a synergistic herb

Luohanguo is a very sweet fruit is a superb Lung tonic used to relieve lung congestion and to cool the lungs, thus "clearing heat" such as one might experience on a hot smoggy day.Suzanne <suziesgoats wrote:

Suzi,

I can see how this would help heal/clear up congestion .. how about scar tissue? That seems to be different than mucousy congestion. I don't know what scar tissue in the lungs is made of tho, so maybe it would work the same way?

Scar tissue in the lungs is the body's response to cut off pockets of severely damaged tissue with a tough "coating" forming a sort of skin around it. When the tissue has been replaced with healthy cells, the scarred nodule should shrink or be reabsorbed. This is not always the case though. You probably need to get your body in top condition inside and out (read total body cleanse) to get your lungs cleared. Mullein tincture will probably help, but is only a bandaid for the problem. Total Nutrition is a must.
