I will be interested in any responses you get on this one. Several years ago we were exposed to some very toxic chemicals and have scarring on the lungs. Everything we have found out since is that, no, there is nothing that can be done about scar tissue on the lungs. Yep it sure causes pain! We'd probably never know if one of us were having a heart attack or not because of the lung pain.

I'm hoping he'll learn from ME and not his dad. He feeds him marshmallow maties cereal and argues "it says on the box it has 11 essential vitamins and minerals" ~sigh~

I still have a hard time getting him to eat raw veggies. Sometimes he will if I let him dip them in dressing. He mostly just drinks them unknowingly when I mix carrots with his apple juice or orange juice. He'll also eat them out of the slow cooker or with cheese on top. I can smuggle tiny pieces of fresh garlic in with his hotdish and he doesnt notice.

BUT this will be my first garden and I bet he'll go hog wild when he tastes FRESH veggies. ~drools on self~

Some people have lungs of iron, I swear. I have friends that smoke 2 packs a day and they're in better health than I am. I've had lung problems since I was little and had pneumonia (and yes, like an idiot I smoked from 14 til the day I found out I was pregnant). I used to have a pretty thick skull but I think its softening up a bit.

: D

Anyone on here ever had problems with lung PAIN? For a while I thought I was having mild heart attacks since the pain is usually on the left side and sometimes pretty severe but some one suggested it might be scar tissue in my lungs. Lately it seems to hurt worse and hurts when I try to exercise or breathe deeply.

Can anything be done about scar tissue?

A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes.

My great-grandmother. The one who passed at 98 smoked until the end. I have an acquaintance who has lung cancer and she never smoked a day in her life. My mother smokes about 3 packs a day, but all four off spring are the ones with asthma. She did smoke when she was pregnant so that might be it.I don't know if you were here when I talked about how my father would not let us have sugar or junk. However, what you are doing for your baby will last a lifetime. I think the juices, cod liver oil and daily swimming my father insisted upon is the only reason I've survived the onslaught of really bad medical care. Case in point, one of my cousins grew up with junk food, almost no exercise, etc. and she went through many of the same things I went through. She passed away at 29 years old. Of course, I'm not saying this is scientific or anything, but even my dentist gets mad because I still have never had a cavity and always have great check-ups.Keep setting a great example for the baby and it will stick. I loved the way you described the little dance waiting to see what you're going to pour from the juicer. :-)Keep shining!mjdFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1.
