Guest guest
Lemon egg for calcium.... total tonic, panther piss and vitamin E... Recipes in the files under Dr.Ian Shillington... the only thing is you need ORGANIC apple cider vinegar and ORGANIC blackstrap molasses. If you can get organic on the other ingredients that would be better, but if not, it will still help . On the lemon egg, fresh lemons - not that stuff they sell in the stores as lemon juice. Also, MSM (get in most health food stores, pharmacies, even Walmart).. This will be a good start... Also does your friend drink sodas... CUT THEM OUT... very bad for arthritis etc... more fresh fruits, raw veggies is good.. He says he 'inherited' it from his mom, and that it's a weird kind of arthritis that centers around loss of circulation; he experiences pain, stiffness, numbness and cold (instead of heat & swelling like I'm used to hearing about arthritis). But he doesn't have carpal tunnel (at least not bad enough to respond to the tests for it). He's 30, a writer & computer programmer; he types a LOT and his hands are his life. I want to help him, but I've never treated arthritis except to provide simple teas & formulas to help stop calcification (spurs) & /or reverse osteoporosis (bone loss). In his case, I need somethign that will help his pain and get circulation going properly in his hands again, and I know arthritis is degenerative, but if anybody knows any long-term things that can reverse it, that'd be wonderful to. Or will the below work for him? P.S. low-budget alternatives appreciated, as neither of us have any money. Guest guest
Hi, That really sounds much more like Reynaud's Phenomenon or similar. It is thought to be inheritable and can eventually end in arthritis. " This is a condition in which the blood supply to the extremities, usually the fingers and toes but sometimes also the ears and nose, is interrupted. During an attack they first become white and dead looking, they may then turn blue and finally bright red. There may be considerable pain, numbness or tingling. The stimulus is usually the cold, a change in temperature or stress. " 1) It may well be a matter of circulation to the arms/hands. Cayenne in ointments/oils on the hands, sip it in water through the day. If not tolerated, use capsules of cayenne or Total Tonic 2) MSM would be a good choice also as it helps a lot of nerve problems to straighten out. When you do this, start out at about 500mg daily and build up slowly - 500mg additional every 5 to 7 days - until relief. Otherwise you'll feel like you have the flu (joint pain) 3) Boswellia Serrata may help any inflammation he has in joints. 4) Organic Apple Cider vinegar (with mother and unfiltered) mixed with Raw local honey. Use 2tbsp each in 8 oz of water twice a day. Makes a tasty drink. 5) BF & C or Deep tissue oil massaged into the hands and forearms 2 or 3 times a day may help any tendons to repair. 6) He should also take very regular breaks from typing/writing to allow his hands time to rest. I have very severe bilateral CTS and used exam gloves to help me when my hands were feeling frozen. I would try this in addition to the suggestions that Suzi made below. It's not going to be instantaneous, but with perseverance it should help. Hope that's not overload. If you have any questions, private mail will be ok. Also tea, coffee, alcofol, salt, anything containing sugar, processed foods, coloured and preserved foods, junk foods! Persian
