The trick with fleas is to get the animals, your house and the outside of

your house treated all in the same day. Exhausting, but completely necessary

to control. One flea can produce 6 million eggs. Mix essential oils

(peppermint and/or lavender work well) into baking soda and sprinkle on

carpet and dog/cat bedding. Let sit 1/2 hour then vacuum. Toss a few cotton

balls with a few drops of EOs near entryways. Get some diatomaceous earth

and sprinkle over lawns and garden areas. Water and let dry overnight. Make

a shampoo with liquid castille soap and add 10 drops lavender and 5 drops

peppermint EO to 8 oz bottle. Shake well. Shampoo the pets. Are you tired

yet? hehehe. Southern California has bad flea problems too, lil buggers love

the hot dry climates.
