I find that the best way to decant your tinctures is to just pour the mix through a strainer and then comes the lengthy process. You need to take the herbs that are left and squeeze them really hard to get every last drop of liquid out of them. I think the strongest parts of the tinctures are what you squeeze out. The decanter will work like a strainer will, but you really need to put your own energy and hands into the mix.

you will find it in the store with the coffee pots. They have a glass decanter with a fine mesh screen plunger to press the coffee from hot water...or in this case the herbs from the liquid tincture.
