Try to soak your feet in GINGER bath. Epsom is very good to but the ginger will act more quickly and promote circulation to remove the toxins. I also like to alternate my bathes with baking soda and vinegar as well.. Although I do total body detox bathes not just the feet. I am addicted to them. Guest guest
Rob, make yourself some total tonic with the walnut hulls. It will help your system fight off the fungus. Janet - " Rob Combis " <rcombis <herbal remedies > Thursday, March 11, 2004 10:41 AM Herbal Remedies - modified juice cleanse > I began a modified juice cleanse on Monday morning. It consisted of Total Nutrition w/ (1)apple,(1)banana,(2)eggs,a handful of strawberries and apple juice. I take this morning and night and drink apple juice and water throughout the day. > > > > I have been feeling great and sleeping really deep. My energy level has been wonderful. However, I played hockey last night and I seem to be lacking some key nutrient b/c my legs got tired after the second shift and I couldn't go on, which has never happened before. I think it is either salt and/or potassium. Not sure though. Any feedback would be appreciated. > > Now for my real question. I have toe-nail fungus on my left foot. It is between my toes and the itchiness comes and goes. I have a little between my toes on the right foot but none on the nail and not nearly as bad as the left. I usually apply some tea tree oil a few times a week. Well after starting the cleanse, my left foot is killing me and I can barely walk. (This started getting bad yesterday) I think I had a bigger fungal problem than I thought. My question is, what can I do. I had one raw food meal today to slowly come off the fast and will have another raw meal tomorrow (with the TN of course). Can I soak my foot in epsom salt or something?? If I come off the fast too quick will I be preventing my body from finishing the fungal killing job?? Any advice will be appreciated. > > Hope everyone has a great day.... > > > > > > Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: > 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. > 2. Guest guest
Ok. So I just got out of my bath. I put some garlic cloves, ginger and some cayenne pepper into a blender with some apple cider vinegar (to get some consistency) and added the mixture to my hot bath. It was interesting. I think I will ease up on the cayenne the next time, because it stung the crap out of my privates. But I have an incredible warmth going all around my body. It is pretty neat. Next time I soak my whole body I will add a lot less cayenne. But when I just soak my feet I will add this in. Thanks for the tips everyone!!! The ginger warms the private parts, but crack and arm pits well... You could just put a layer of vaseline on before you get in if it bothers you. God Bless, Jamie.... who like the soaks! Guest guest
Shelby, I am very sorry that you experienced any discomfort. This remedy was advised to me by my naturopath and has worked very successfully for me with very little discomfort. I only score the clove twice on each side, making an x on each side of clove, perhaps too much of the oil was released when your clove was scored. Of course, we are all different and have different sensitivities, so maybe, as advised earlier, not scoring the garlic at all or using yogurt would work better for you. I hope you find a remedy that works for you, as I know how uncomfortable this can be.
