I'm off line right now, but know there has been inforation in the past

regarding this subject. here are a few ideas i have on file:

#

Dr Earle Sweet :

The solution to stretch marks is to rub the skin with Coco butter. Most

pharmacies have this. Application early (before the marks appear) will

likely ensure that no marks will appear.

Kind regards, Dr Earle Sweet

Sweet almond oil is another good emolient that's readily absorbed into the

skin. You might also want to add 4-6 drops of the following per 4 ounces of

oil:

Chamomile: A source of levomenol, a natural moisturizer that improves

texture and elasticity.

Rose Hip Oil: Derived from a wild mountain rose grown in Chile, this oil

replenishes lipids and reduces fine lines. It is an essential fatty acid

compound that is very high in vitamin E, C and gamma-lineolic acid.

Lavendar Oil: Balances skin and has antiseptic qualities. It also stimulates

cell renewal and can reduce scarring. (Note: Some individuals may experience

contact dermatitis.)

Shea butter. Made from the fruit of the Karite tree, shea butter increases

cell renewal and capillary circulation to promote healing, especially

stretch marks.

Remember...stretch marks DO often fade with time. ;-)

Liza

here is some info that might help

Suzi

Vitamin C and E work wonders in keeping the skin elastic and preventing stretch marks. In many cases, supplements improve the appearance of stretch marks when taken over several months. Vitamin B complex helps maintain healthy skin. Zinc is also effective in preventing and treating stretch marks. It is of vital importance in tissue healing or regeneration. Vitamin A is especially important for skin elasticity.

Herbal Remedies

Aloe vera juice and horsetail help rebuild scar tissue and strengthen skin elasticity. Massage into the skin daily in early pregnancy to help prevent stretch marks. Drink 1 tbsp. of rose hip juice daily as an excellent source of vitamin C, which keeps skin soft and elastic.

Vitamin E capsules opened and applied onto skin will help prevent and sometimes remove stretch marks.

How much to take

Vitamin A, 25,000 IU (avoid during pregnancy) Vitamin C, with bioflavonoids, 1000 mg Vitamin E, with mixed tocopherols, 400 IU Vitamin B complex, 50 mg three times daily Zinc 15 mg, with 3 mg copper

When my son got burned in a school science lesson , once the hospital had stopped dressing the burn I used Vit E oil on it several times a day as well as internally and he was left with no scarring at all . I've also heard that lavender oil is good for scars. But I think you have to use these things over a period of time.

I've had really good results with Emu Oil and Vit E for scars...I've also heard that Helichrysum essential Oil helps with healing...but very expensive!

I have used Everlasting oil on new wounds (helichrysum) and it does

work, however I have found that the Vit E works just as well.

Pure Aloe gel works great too if you combine the E with it. I have

heard great things about the Emu Oil but have not used it myself.

The best minimization of my stretchmarks came though, when i improved

my diet and mostly when i added beneficial oils (internally).
