Guest guest
I have mixed 1 bottle of flax seed oil with 5 drops of lavender oil, 5 drops of clove oil, and 10 drops of eucalyptus oil. The flax oil really helps the skin, while lavender oil soothes the skin; and clove oil helps with viral, bacterial, and fungal infections, and the eucalyptus oil repel insects. This mixture is gentle enough to use daily and is very helpful to use after bathing as a general conditioner. I have used it for 2 years on my rottweiller with blessings from my vet who has asked for the recipe for his dogs... good luck, Theresa Taylor Love and Laughter, Theresa M. Guest guest
i don't know if it will work or not, but MSM is said to be beneficial for animals with allergies and skin problems. get it at your local feed store and read the label. they use it for horses as well as small animals. love.. granny lee - soycandlemkr herbal remedies Tuesday, March 09, 2004 9:32 AM Herbal Remedies - Doggie Staph infection My dog gets a skin staph infection from time to time. Drawback to the breed is what the vet tells me - min pin. It is from minor abrasions to the skin that doesn't look like anything more than dry skin that will not go away. I usually go to the vet and get a horrible steroid cream to clear it up but I was wondering if there was something natural. I put some Tea tree on it and she came unglued at the smell! Growls at me every time I get near her with a cotton ball now! Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Guest guest
You can buy it in the health food stores (or even Walgreens, Walmart, etc)... and yes it does help dogs too. Guest guest
I mix a 6 oz. bottle ( you can use a separate bottle and save the rest of your flax oil in the fridge). almost full with flax seed oil and the essential oils. Lavender, Clove, and Eucalyptus. Theresa Love and Laughter, Theresa M. Hook hooked_on_travel Search - Find what you’re looking for faster.
