Guest guest
Hi John, Welcome to the group... First off you need to get Doc's tape... email this group and request it (subject FREE TAPE)... give you r mailing addy also. Second.. tell us what your diet consists of , foods, drinks etc... sodas, dairy, caffeine, sugars, red meats, fruits, veggies, etc. Also, what were all the surgeries for? You have IBS, what else is going on? Once we get some further info .. we'll be better able to help. It may be tomorrow when you get some more answers also. Suzi Sr. ModeratorJohn <ipmoc wrote: Hello all, I just joined this hoping someone would have some advice for me. I hate to take pills, but the lack of energy and pain is really getting me down. I have IBS, have had 7 surgerys by now. 4 of which are on my right arm, need 2 more.My tolerance for pain is high because its dailey, so like at my last surgery, they gave me those 500 mg hydrocondons( something else in there too), I could take 2 at a time ( only weigh 140 lbs ) and at the most would get 10 to 15 minutes of eye dropping and drousy, then back to normal. I found out most people would pass out from 2. The pain shots in the bummie after surgery I got them every 90 minutes. Nurses were amazed that with in 15 minute of waking up from a 4 hour surgery I was complaining about the pain, granted I did have a nerve relocation in my elbow and 8 inch of staples with a drain tube. Nothing like turning a pillow red, and the doctor saying that normal, and I mean whole pillow !!Because of the IBS and other allergies there is many foods I cant eat, especially like italian spices, horse radish etc. That puts a crimple in food. Heck even pork makes my stomache flip over !I do 10 hours plus of pc work a day and just dont have the drive or the focus any more. I have tried massive over doses of like ginko baloba and gensing and it has no real effect. I have problems being able to goto sleep at night, I can stay up for 20 hours and not be able to function, soon as I lay down its like the light switch is turned on in my head. Basicly I want to know of some super "legeal speed" hehe, I am at the end of my ropes with just being out of the groove and the pain from my own body. I know too many pill heads mixing them up with boos and other stuff, and just dont want to go down that road.Any advice would be greatly taken to heart. Thanks for your time,John
Guest guest
Well let me make a list hehe. 1 - was to fix the broken elbow I had 90% chance of no function again due to the main nerve being 50% severed 2 - bullet wound, no lasting complications there 3 - scoping on cup of shoulder 4 - a vein on 1 side of groin and 4 other vessels repaired, 3 inch scar ( fun !! ) 5 - nerve relocation in previous broken elbow 6 - scoping on wrist, right side was torn loss. Basicly my whole right are is screwed, I will need another shoulder surgery soon, and eventually the under side of my shoulder blade cleaned out from bone fragements and scar tissue. As for diet, couple cups of coffee a day, I try to not drink soda unless away from the house or on the road. I fairly much just live on froozen burritos and eggs. Sounds bad I know, but when everything turns your stomache, nothing else to do. Eat a lot of oatmeal too. Chinese food sets well, except for the fact I shouldnt eat cabbage and msg, so NO EGG roll for Johnnie !! I avoid dairy, dont eat ice cream dont eat cheese. Any raw milk turns me, but something cooked with it is ok, like butter used to fry is ok, but butter on something no...I eat alot of yams, usually dry. I avoid all black pepper, and rarely add salt to anything. I figure I eat enough processed stuff. I am 6'3'' and weigh 140 fully clothed, so my metabolism is through the roof. Funny that shell fish doesnt bother me but pork makes me sick. I can literly eat 2 lbs of shrimp while watching tv and be hungry in an hour. Same with beef, but an half pound yam can take up half a day. I dont care about food thats tasty, you know, I only eat cause I get weak and light headed. Get this one, just taking a shower makes my stomache turn, its weird, I have to sit down and take a breather and several times spent it on the floor. Water temp doesnt matter, I thought it was the hea at first. I have alot of temp changes, like heat burns, even while typing this I have taken off and put back on my tshirt twice now. Guess thats about it...for now, the other problem are secondary Thanks

Guest guest
Well, adding to Suzi's excellent advice - Start shopping for only certified organic foods. This includes any meat you are eating. The weakness and sweating are probably due to nutritionaly deficiency of some kind. The food that is readily available today is virtually empty of any nutrients because of overworked soil, bad feeding choices, chemicals, hormones, genetic engineering, etc. Certified organic foods go through a strict inspection designed to make sure you get the best natural food. Eat only grains, nuts and seeds that have been pre sprouted first. There is so much information for you in our files, I know you will be digging in there for a few days hehe. Welcome to the group.
