Guest guest
Rock on! I'm also a single mother to a 2 yr. girl & 3.5 yr boy. Honestly, for my teething runts I was more interested in sedating them. I mean really, like you can stop teeth from coming in? I was totally a treat the symptom junkie on that trip. But I digress. There are some good naturopathic teething things out there, I think Borion sells a little dose of something they call " Camilla " . My guess is that it was named after the hurricane in 1969. It worked well for my runts. Try doing a search for Borion on the web. -Shelby Sara [sentfromabove7903] Thursday, March 04, 2004 12:10 AM herbal remedies Herbal Remedies - New with natural needs for baby. Hi, I'm Sara. I have an 8 month old son that I am wanting to tret naturally. I personally just wait things out, and haven't had any severe problems, so I can with stand the symptoms until it passes, but with a child, you know you want to ease their pain, which is why I hope y'all can help us when we need it. Right now he is teething, and I know to use some Clove oil and glycerin, but I am sure, one day, I will need a remedy for something else. Breast-feeding, co-sleeping, non-vaxing, single-mom to 1 PERFECT son.
Guest guest
Personally I think clove oil is a bit strong for babies... I would go with catnip. SuziSara <sentfromabove7903 wrote: Hi, I'm Sara. Guest guest
Hi Sara, When my daughter was teething, I used a brand of products called "Hylands" (from the HFS) and they have Teething Tablets. They were easy for her to take (melt in the mouth) and worked great! At the first sign of runny nose, which for my daughter preceeded the other more severe symptoms, I would give her some teething tablets and we had a happy family! Now, I have to say that I haven't looked at the ingredients or anything since my awareness of natural methods, etc, has increased, so I highly recommend doing your own research. Guest guest
Yes clove oil is very strong, you are suppose to dilute it with some vegitable glycerin, and test it on yourself first. They recommend like 1 small drop of oil to 1 fluid ounce of glycerin, and then check on your lip to see if it needs more glycerin. herbal remedies , Suzanne <suziesgoats> wrote: > Personally I think clove oil is a bit strong for babies...
