Don't have much time it seems anymore. I would like to ask your fine advice. My 17 year old daughter has chickenpox. We were babysitting a friends 2 little boys and one had them. They started coming out Sunday on her. She has had them mildly when she was about 5. But this time they are terrible. She has them all over her head, her face, neck, trunk, in her mouth, a few in her nose, in her ears, and some on her arms and legs and still coming one at a time. She has been soaking in warm oatmeal baths to soothe the itching and also to bring them out more. They have not all open but at the same time they are still coming. She has on the right side of her neck one time one gland swelled up then another then the other went away now she has two that are swollen. The lesions have not all opened yet. Only about 1/5 of them. There are alot. How long will she have before they stop coming out and heal over. She is feels exhausted- lack of energy or drive, lack of appetite ( I have been making smoothies with added protein and fat due to her losing some weight). She has a headache upon moving around but staying still it is fine. I have had her on a light diet but supplementing to try to keep her from losing too much weight. I have supplemented with vitamins and the usual echinacea and so on. So you all have any experiences that may make her recovery smoother or easier? I would appreciate it. I apologize if this question has been asked before but when I checked the search on the for herbal remedies it did not show one listing. Thank you again! From a greatful mother and an exhausted 17 year old.Sonia
