Guest guest
well, shucks... i forgot to mention that i put cold pressed virgin olive oil in the TT before i spread it on the toast, and also a bit over my nearly or raw vegetables, and also take at least 2 little thingies of flax seed oil and/or freshly ground flax seed.the only sources from which i get fat are the natural oils in the vegetables which is very little, so i add a bit of the olive oil to them as well as the TT. once in a while if i stew a chicken for broth and the meat bits, there is animal fat, but i skim most of it off while cooking then again after it has cooled and risen to the top. i had begun the additional olive oil about a month ago sensing that i was shorting my self that lubrication : )the health food store here in town did not have the UDO oil. i guess i will have to order some. they are ordering me some organic carrots so i guess they can order the UDO. i had thought of putting olive oil in the egg/almond milk/total nutrishion with a bit extra ginger and cinnamon, but haven't tried it yet. i will up the amounts of oil and see what happens. appreciate your response. in order to save space, i will no longer send a thanks or I'll try that or whatever unless there is a change or more information but please know that i do appreciate and thank those who have been so kind.thanks...wado..love.. granny lee - Kelli Bever Hi Granny, I don't see any oil mentioned - do you use Udo's Oil with the Total Nutrition drink? Water is definitely important, but I have found that I will have dry skin and cracked lips no matter how much water I drink if I'm not getting enough good oil into me. Hope this helps, Kelli
Guest guest
Hi granny, Sounds good. I think the Udo's will really help. I forgot to mention in my last post that I drink 12 - 30 oz of grapefruit juice every morning and don't have a problem with dry or cracking skin / lips unless I run out of Udo's. I can also tell immediately when my husband has been skimping on his Udo's - his hands get rough and skratchy. As soon as he ups it again - smooth as silk! And he's a contractor working with his hands every day. (They used to be rough as concrete!!) Let us know how it goes!
